Hi Oliver,
Sorry about using your last name in the previous message.
I'm not judging ... just curious.

Sorry, cannot help with the shoot, but congrats and good luck

Kind regards

I use the LS-1000 on a daily basis here at the paper
that I work at. It is a good scanner, slow for my
needs; but the scans are very good. I've scanned all
manner of films as well... negative, slide... Slides
don't look as good as the negative scans, but that is
prolly because I do not have it pro
Hi Gabriel:
I am going to tell you the method I have used to clean slightly dirty
focusing screens, with success. Disclaimer: Don't do this if you are a
faint-hearted person. Try it first, if possible, in an old focusing
screen, to acquire some practice.
Dismount the focusing screen of your MZ-S.
The lens most likely was made to work as an autofocus lens with a very
specific camera . . . I forgot the model offhand (ME-F?), but know it's
mentioned on Boz's site.
This was Pentax's rush into autofocus, and placed the motor in the lens
instead of in the camera body . . .

Well: sort of correct...
Both bodies were new. Both prisms were new.
I paid list for a warranty on one Pentax body, and had not got round to
'registering' that camera with Pentax (neither had I made a note of the SN,
so when they got switched, I had no way of knowing which was which anyway!)

this lack of choice about when the winder winds is something I became
aware of a couple of years ago when I was shooting in
Sounds like you need TV's services, he does just the sort of thing you are
after, (IMHO) most excellently. (http://www.bigdayphoto.com/)

Well, as long as you have c
Raymond,
Do I understand you correctly - if there was a problem with the second
67II that you bought, knowing it may be damaged, you'd submit it for
repair under warranty using the papers from the 67II you purchased new?

I asked the guy some basic info:
what happened (he dropped it 3 ft onto a carpet)
are there any cracks (no)
does it rattle (no)
can he dry fire it (yes, sounded 'on time')
when he mounts the prism, does he get a clean fit (yes)
when he turns the camera on with the prism + lens, does he get a read
I may as well ask this question now. Nate and I are going to need
someone to shoot our wedding, and who better to ask first than
friendly PDML-ers? :) The wedding will be in Southold, NY, on Long
Island's North Fork, about 2 hours from NYC.
We're looking for someone who can do both B&W and color.
