of the incident meter it measures the light not the reflectance of the
subject.

I have the same meter.
First off, forget all about comparing readings with an in-camera meter since
there is really no 1:1 corespondence between ambient measurements and in
camera meters.
I have the same meter and the way I use it is to use the lumisphere (dome)
and take two readings.
All the Kodak 160 speed pro color films seem to work better at 100-125.
Paper and chemistry is easier calibrated to work with the same manufactures
film, but if the lab is sharp it should not be a major problem.

It often pays to be less specific. Next time, try leaving out Takumar or
SMC; in fact, leave out both, or at least authorize EBay to search within
the text. Remember, the seller has only 45 letters to play with so he may

What a coincidence: It was two days ago that I acquired my KX, which had
the same strap. My strap is narrow dark-gray cloth webbing with a broader
black Pentax shoulder pad. Once you open the hinge, push the webbing here
and you'll eventually figure out which part of it to push to create slack

Nope. But you can do the mirror lock-up trick* and then use the self-timer to
take the shot. This is how I usually do it becaus I often don't have a cable
release handy.

These photos are awful. They lack decent tonality, with a clear lack of
good mid tones, highlights are burnt out and blocked, shadow detail is
almost nonexistent ... perhaps you're having problems
This only happens to people that are obsessed with eBay, and
usually results in paying too much for the item to prevent
