This was taken recently on a photo outing with my middle daughter. I
used the Yellow/Blue Polarizer to enhance the small rainbow showing at
the bottom of the water falling.
Comments welcome.
Pentax *istD, DA 16-45/4, Tripod, Cokin Yellow/Blue Polarizer
ISO 200, 21mm focal length, 1/8 sec @ F19
I have to say that I rather like this. Probably not something I would
have thought of taking, but it's kind of nice to see mostly grays
instead of strong orange/yellow/reds. It has a somber, end of day
feel to it.

designed for this. many of the slideshow programs for under $60 will do this

I purchased an M85/2 when it was first introduced (outrageously priced)
and focusing was smooth and not stiff right out of the box. (still is)
Perhaps lack of use and aging combine to stiffen it.
And I know others dislike this lens, but I've got some memorable pix with it.

You're right, the hair-stylist is too dark. Unfortunately I didn't
have my huge add-on flash with me that day. These are the (few) times

the background out of focus might be to use a
wider-angle lens and move in closer; the background
objects will be larger in number but smaller in size,
and contribute context and "atmosphere" without as
