For me what make this shot interesting is the strong green and red
colors of the foliage. Usually pictures of ice are rather monotone
and bleak looking. This is quite nice.

There's no such thing as being too "picky" when it comes to working on your
photographs. Most photos, no matter how good they are, can be improved
with slight and sometimes subtle adjustments.

I think the MV, like the MG and ME, do have a mechanical speed at
1/100, which is also the flash synch speed. When I had an MV I noticed
that the shutter, while it had the same specs as the ME, was either
"clackier" in operation or at least not nearly as well damped.

Good luck with getting it up and running - with my Mz-S in the shop I have
used my Pz-1p for some slides lately, and it is a joy to work with. It will
never happen but if Pentax had just upgraded the AF and metering (the 8
segment metering in the Pz-1p was good, but not as good as the 6 segment
