In fact, it is in the SH updates_doc.

This is exactly what the 'Start Here' series in QL Today was aimed at.
Incidentally, while I mention it, after the next three issues we would

You need to set the location of the CD drive with the command:
CDR_DRIVE 1,1,0
This sets cdr1_ (1,) to the slave of the 1st ide (,1,), and

Who said that?
The command you need is IPCMOUSE (which is in fact IPCMOUSE 1), assuming
you are connected to the port marked 'mouse' on sH -
Tony,
It seems i am replying to earlier emails and then yours arrives with
further details etc. I will remove the LRESPR win1_ipcextuk_bin
and then refit the RomDisq and reboot. IPCMOUSE 1 doesn't seem to
work and I was told i should use IPCMOUSE 5 or 6 instead which also
doesn't seem to work.
Cheers bob.
I now know why Flp1_ isn't working. I have connected the Floppy cable
to the
'Other' SGC socket, so it is in fact currently Flp3_
I will plus into the other socket tomorrow.
CDROM_bin and ATAPIqub_bin are both on win1_
so I've changed my boot and now get upon startup.

I'm starting to play with the Icon system which is very impressive.
I managed to play with Qroute :-)
Seriously though, I cannot access Flp1_ or for that matter the CD
drive.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Neil.
p.s. I may attach my twin ED drives to the SGC as a test.

This is the SHermes driver, when loaded a prompt should be seen.
Where have you connected your mouse?
Add a line or direct command:
IPCMOUSE n, where n is the serial port for the mouse (5 or 6).

Marcel, I have the previous version of SMSQ/E at home.
Ok, A small but significant update.
Removal of the RomDisq appears to have solved things, or at
least, moved things forward.

There was a bug in SMSQ/E that could cause a hang at this point. I
have fixed it in 3.03, so if you have any earlier version it might be
worth to update.

I have noticed on the initial startup screen that whilst the
FUJITSU Hard Drive and the LITE-ON LTN526S CD rom gets
mentioned, there is no mention of the 3.5" DISK DRIVE, Also,
the 3.5" drive light doesn't appear to illuminate at any point during
the startup process even when i slap a d

Tony,
I have recently obtained this Aurora so your questions are better
aimed at the previous owner who often frequents this list. Sadly,
I appear to be a passenger on this ride but of course am keen to
learn and get this machine up and running ( i have plans for it).
My knowledge though is dire

Hi Guys.
First the good news, for those of you who have been helping with my
Aurora.
The KVM switch is now working with my Aurora, After fitting a keyboard
PS2 to DIN
and PS2 to Serial mouse connector the KVM happily switches between PC
and Aurora
and the screen quality is perfect.
