Installed Silver (v1) shifters on Shimano pods last night/this morning. I had a problem very similar to what Nikko described above. The lever for the rear derailleur worked like a dream. But the one operating the front mech was difficult to use. Surly LHT, Albatross bars, Shimano pods. Front

Hi all – I just installed a set of Silver shifters, mounted to Shimano pods. The rear derailleur is working great, with a light touch. However the front derailleur requires some serious English in order to shift up (adding tension). The lever moves normally with the wingnut snugged up when the
