I have a six speed freewheel on my Bleriot which, like all Bleriot, is spaced
at 135mm across the rear dropouts. It is mounted on an old Phil Wood hub.
I re-dished the wheel to accomodate the 135 spacing and the narrower freewheel,
and put a new axle and spacers (available from Phil) in the hub.
Some good folks, like Nicole, take good care of their bicycle karma.

Hiya, Rivendell Real Bike Devotees;
I find that I am above my critical sack mass and must scale back through the
sale of some quality bike bags.
1) Early model Baggins panniers; I believe these were made in the late 1990's.
They are tan canvas and leather of fairly large capacity (approx. 20
I have for sale to the Riv Owners Group a complete set of cotton canvas
Carradice Super C series front and rear panniers. Used for one 5 day tour and
some commuting and shopping, in fine undamaged condition except missing one
plastic toggle-lock rack clip on one of the large rear bags. A little

Perhaps cork or leather fender washers (as sold by Velo Orange, Rene Herse
(Boulder), and others) at the rack mounting bolts would provide sufficient
damping to deal with the shimmy, yet allow enough tightening torque on the
bolts to prevent them from working loose over time due
