Hey wrenches,
Does anyone have any advice for troubleshooting Aquion batteries? This
particular stack is an Aspen 48M-25.9. They are losing power on a nightly
basis. I'm not seeing much technical literature out there and I'm not
familiar with these batteries.
Are there any common failures? How

Hi Wrenches,
What's the most cost effective way to disconnect 4 poles of 600Vdc? Need
to do 2 strings, both + & -. Preferably fusible. This comes up a lot in
our designs
Thanks in advance for your thoughts

The "R" inverters have had a persistent issue that the list discussed
recently. You get an error "inverter firmware mismatch". This results in
losing a phase and then can be cleared by power cycling the Mate 3s and

Do you have a flexnet DC? I believe that is the master voltage indicator
that's displayed on the mate. There is an adjustment potentiometer for that
in the flexnet. Search for flexnet DC calibration and you will see a
document from outback for that.
This can make a huge difference for accurate
I would look closely at Growatt.
One thing easy to overlook, with 48V batteries especially, is how
difficult it is to have BOS components that are UL listed on the DC side.
This is an advantage of the cluster topology as opposed to a central
inverter topology. There are some good custom options

We have seen this issue repeatedly as well with FXR stacked inverters.
Changing cables, scrubbing the firmware etc will buy time but never fully
fixes the issues. It will crop up again at some future date. My general
sense is that errors accumulate over time and make these systems unstable.

Hey wrenches,
Is anyone familiar with a solid Lithium solution that could be reconfigured
