Thank you for your help.
I checked /etc/sysconfig/hwconf, it didn't contain "class: PRINTER".
Then I run kudzu. Turn off the printer and turn it on again.
Run printtool, I found the printer could print.
Thank you very much.

During the Red Hat install, drives are accessed as devices in the /tmp
directory, rather than /dev. So, if you want to use fdisk during

Dear Friends
I've installed RH 6.0, but
the screen lines need to be fixed because the x windows and the font are too
small.
I read in the help that this could be
done from the dpi in the x server, could you guide me to a direct steps to do
that without ( destroying ) the system.
You should be executing /sbin/shutdown. If you just type "shutdown" then
that will execute /usr/bin/shutdown, which is a link to consolehelper,
which is what you are seeing.
So to reboot a redhat box its: /sbin/shutdown -r now

Sorry for the late reply,
I found mine at Barnes and Noble for 30 something $US.
I also have to recommend "Effective AWK Programming" from www.ssc.com.

It's mostly gawk, but describes the differences.
It filled in a lot of gaps the "Bible" left.
