how to reformat a drive that was used for linux to use it for
windows I don't remember but if you search for formatting a drive
you should be able to find it.

promted to create partitions, auto, druid, or fdisk. use fdisk to delete all
partitions, it'll be all free space, write the table, go back to the

My exprience says searching an rpm using a file name (
without knowing exact rpm file ) is very difficult. but pbone works great.

When I do a ps -ef|grep fetchmail I get 2 fetchmail processes. Now, I do a
kill -9 PID's (of the fetchmail processes ofcourse) and I get an error which
say that those PID's do not exist. Again I do a ps -ef|grep fetchmail and I see
again 2 fetchmailprocesses with two new PID's. Anyon

I've been working on Redhat 6.2 kernel 2.4.2 and when I installed a Adaptec
AHA 2490 SCSI card and connected a HP surestore DAT tape drive at the other
end. The card is recognised by the CMOS but when I type in dmesg I dont see
any mention to the tape drive.
