I had a similar situation. The system clock was off by 1 hour. I would
reset the system clock and it would switch back to be 1 hour behind. The
problem was that the hardware clock and system clock were not synchronized.
Here is a link that talks about how to synchronize them.

I know others have had problems with this, so I tested on my servers after
an upgrade (last week) and I don't notice any problems. One of my PHP
portals go hosed and cant connect to it from a web browser, but the other

Do you have the ipt_multiport.o module built?
Check under your /lib/modules//kernel/net/ipv4/netfil

There's an annoying bug in Postfix from the 7.1 powertools, and there doesn't
seem to be any updates. Anybody know about this?
It's not that important, becuase this weekend I'll update to 7.3, but I can't
imagine why there isn't an update, especially after seein

Hi,
I read about a bug in RH7.2 iptables, due to debugging code, with NAT /
mangle.
Now I'm not sure about this: Is this bug still there in RH7.3?

In addition to the other answers given, I suspect find . -name "*.tar.gz"
-exec tar xzf {} \; would do what you want too.

Hi Gabriel:
Since no one else has responded, I will give it a shot.
Offhand I would say that it is executing one tar command with
all the tarballs on the one command line. The first one is
used as the tarball and the rest are used as filenames to be
extracted from the tarball.
Try the followin
find . -name "*.tar.gz" -print0 | xargs -0 tar xzf
doesn't do what i would think it should do
instead it returns the list of tar.gz files with the error:
tar: ./filename0.tar.gz: not found in archive
tar: ./filename1.tar.gz: not found in archive
tar: ./filename2.tar.gz: not found in arch

Hello all,
This is a very strange situation I've never encountered before. Both
the root account and user account become inaccessible. Needless to say,
without root there is little that can be done to fix the problem - I
always have to do a complete re-install.
