Hi Chad,
AutoZone carries these. I just got a set for my Spirit a few months ago.
Just have them look up an 89 Daytona Shelby with 16 wheels and rear discs.

should be able to do it or point you to someone who can.

As long as we are helping each other, it doesn't matter. Better 10 answers

the cranking
compression should be, then you need to find a more experienced machinist -
period, end of conversation. Bearing failure like that sounds more like an
oiling problem than anything else.

Subject: SD White Valve Covers
Haven't you guys beat the topic to death about this??
I'm sick of getting 20-50 post a day on whether
Hate to screw everyone up, but my old 85 SC had a painted off white valve
cover. My friends mom bought it new, so I know it was factory.

Penzoil SUCKS! I'd be willing to bet that you've got about 1,000 miles since
you put the Penz in. You're hearing the clattering because it's already
broken down and not lubricating. Castrol is good, Kendal is better,
Synthetic is best.

Thanks Paul,
I've decided to fix whatever the problem is and sell the car. I added it up
tonight and in the last year I've spent about $8,000 on this thing. I'll be
lucky to get $3,000 for it. I should have just bought an old Mopar to start
with.

is. After it's correctly repaired it will be up for sale. If no one buys it
complete, it will get parted out and the body will go to the junkyard.
Hopefully it sells as a complete car. If anyone is interested in it after it
is repaired, let me know.
