Duncan,
What do you consider low doses and how are they delivered?
Oral, smoked, or straight leaf?
Thanks,

Teri, that's amazing!! I've got to try it. I wonder why it has to be
only at night though...? It would be alot easier for me to put it in
my morning O.J. instead. I hope it doesn't matter when you take it,
as long as you do. Have you noticed any side effects from doing this?
Thank you so much!
Here's another one; salvia divinorum, a bitter herb that at very
low doses reduces drug-taking behaviour and actual consumption of
several specific addictive substances, but is itself non-
addictive.
Three low doses in the first week cuts desire for the substances
by about half; studies

cream of tarter in an eight ounce glass of orange juice every night, for some
reason it works, in the morning you eliminate nicotine when you go to the
bathroom

ago. Hubby used it and it took him about a month to quite.

Actually, this is how I eventually managed it Peter. I tried for about
fifteen years, but it was this sort of self hypnosis that eventually worked.

I have a hard time even remember that I ever smoked... I had never craved one

Yeah, me too. I quit smoking about 25 years ago -- and I had a

Dee,
I only offer this comment in the hope that it might help someone. Between
ages 19 and 30 I smoked a pack a day and tried to quit on many occasions.
You probably know the routine. Crumple the pack and throw it away, only to
un-crumple it later, straighten out a cigarette (sometimes using
Just wanted to add my two cents. I quit smoking back in 1982 but I never
intended to stop. In 1979 I was station at Scott AFB IL and had just returned
from the clinic where I was told that I had pnemonia and numerous other things
and that I would need to quit smoking. Needless to say I did
Quitting smoking was very easy for me. I did it a hundred times.
What was hard was to keep from starting up again.
What actually worked for me was realizing that the way I felt when I wanted a cigarette was exactly
the way I felt shortly after finishing a cigarette. I said to myself, I've

Hello folks,
On the matter of detoxing from nicotine, please allow me a thought here.
Instead of constantly seeking for a way to medicate for this or that,
would it not be better to just do the following:
1. quit smoking
2. start exercising so that the lungs can expel the toxins naturally.
3.
