But in essence it can be done mathematically, but only approximately, just as you do it
by guesstimate! And aim for a little nose-heaviness, as an 1/16 oz in the tail has
as much effect as a pound near the CG! you should never, ever, need to add
nose-ballast!

There is a diode somewhere in the tx that prevents you to
do anything like checking voltage or peak charging! It's
there to stop you from accidentally reverse-charging the battery!
Usually it is mentioned in the manual, and is easily
jumpered!

use, especially in Germany! Full-size thermalling flying wings can be

Even if the Bahamas is mostly flat you could well
bring a HLG for some down by the beach hang-gliding!

Older Robbe chargers, like the Infinity, doesn't handle Nimhs well, Sirius
does excellently, but doesn't have that much capacity, so it isn't
as fast as some. Schulze does handle both - if you have to reset
something, or not, I have no idea!

urely are a hindrance for new members to join, these old men (the youngest
roughly my age, and I am soon 50!), most of them excellent technicians and builds
beautiful models, but are very happy to be as few as possible ...
I do visit occasionally, but only when the wise guys are elsewhere!

German RC mags (forgotten the name of it), but the
reviewers all think the second generation version,
with a small stabilisator, is much better!

Could it have been a robbe Silentus? It uses the same
type of construction as the Twinstar and there is no
covering of any sort :-)! Quite stylish and quite slow!
About HLG size, looks a bit like a FOKA 4 (swept fin, et cetera).
