[OSM-talk] Maritime borders rules

About a month ago maritime border of Peru has been changed from commonly used Territorial Seas to Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ): http://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/53890344 The problem has been reported, but it's still not clear if some global rules should be applied here:

Dear all, Today, v4.6.0 of the openstreetmap-carto stylesheet (the default stylesheet on the OSM website) has been released. Once changes are deployed on the openstreetmap.org it will take couple of days before all tiles show the new rendering. Changes include - Change sports_centre and stadium
