It works well for me. I have previously tried to use The Bat! built in
sync facilities (to keep a laptop and a desktop in sync) but it never
worked well. I now prefer to have my backups as just regular file
We're probably getting too technical here... The same can be done with
an IPC. If the process it too busy to handle the IPC data, the OS will
hold on to it until the process can read it.
