There are two versions, one with and one without autoupdate.
Whichever one you use, it overwrites everything in "program files\The Bat". If
you use the version WITHOUT autoupdate, it is no different than upgrading from
previous versions.
But the one with autoupdate installs files in a
Version 10 works, but you have to jump through some hoops with a web browser
when you first add a gmail address to The Bat.
Unless you actually need to send from a gmail address, you can fix retrieval of
mail at www.gmail.com and forwarding everything (and delete from Google servers
afterwards
The threshold question remains, what is the latest version of The Bat that will
support the new security changes annouced by Google and which become effective
in just two weeks?

Hello Jack,
A correction to my previous message! I was under the impression that the
.msi is version 4.2.12.0, it is in fact 4.2.12.2 and therefore the version
4.2.12.1 download is not necessary. My apologies, I hope you did not
install it.
