Just out of curiosity, why not use the same kernel as in Lucid? They
are the same base kernel, just built for different HW (armv6+vfp vs
armv7).
And the issue with the boards at the sprint was on bbg 2.5 boards from
what I understood.

I don't know the exact steps for that, but a 2G USB drive costs $10-$15

other platform for that matter.
As an alsa developer, I'm trying to make the mixer controls as intuitive
as possible for the given system, but the PCM control is a soft volume
control handled in userspace.

mixer and removing

I'd like to request a change to the xorg.conf in moblin and ubuntu-ume

This is needed for 3D apps to run on Mccaslin based systems, and will be

Are you sure? On my 945 build system, the DRI section I mentioned is
default, and the video group is not the group owner for card0. This is
a fresh install of Gutsy, no upgrading.

Instead of disabling the stock drm module, why not just rename the psb drm
module? Here's a simpler fix.
diff --git a/ubuntu/media/drm-poulsbo/Makefile b/ubuntu/media/drm-poulsbo/Makefile

then scrambling when it does. It would be much more efficient if we tested
them before submitting.
At least that's how we do it in alsa.
