After a recent update (October 2015) cd /etc/to my Archlinux and LMS
files on my Wandboard Quad, I could no longer connect via Samba to the
USB hard disk containing my music files attached to my Wandboard.
To sort this out, SSH in to your Wandboard:
chmod 0755 /var/cache/samba/msg

check stuff. I did notice that one URL for a 3rd party developer did

Getting Samba working on Archlinux is a little different to Debian with
which I am a little more familiar. This is how I got it going on
ArchLinux (SoA).
I installed Samba using pacman -S samba because I did not see any

Correct Pascal, and the port to log in on is ip_address:80.
Note: when the download completes the Wandboard self-rebooted. On

castalla, I was having frequent radio dropouts with both my Sheevaplug
and RPi. I did a full Clear Library and rescan everything and it seems
to have sorted the problems.

Debian.
There's just one item which needs to be amended in the portion below.
Just after the line LMS=192.168.x.x , insert the following:
(a) if 32 bit Squeezelite:
sudo mv /opt/squeezelite/squeezelite-i386
When installing Debian 7 in a VMware VM, installing VMware Tools can be
a bit of a conundrum. This page explains how to sort it:
