Another easy way to add an email account is to do it on your Mac and the sync

Try Lokiware's 'Attachment Tamer'. I've been using it for years. It sends files
as attachments rather than in the body of the email from apple mail. Check for
the version that works with your system software.

allocated you a certain amount of space and that you have exhausted your
allocation. If this is the case you can:
1.) Clean up your mail box by deleting old / emails

I have no usage for command and + that I know of. It works fine in FireFox,
and used to work in Mail (I think)

OS X 10.6.8 is Snow Leopard. Try an easy fix for your Mail problem first.
1. Open Mail
2. Click on your Gmail Mailbox that is showing the incorrect message count (to
select it)
3. In the Menu Bar, click Mailbox Rebuild

If I copy any attachments from Mail to the desktop, then Trash them when I have
finished with them,
I am not able to delete them from Trash until I have quit Mail.

Many times the file in use error
can drag a file from Mail onto the Finder to work with it. I can drag a
snapshot I've taken for a quote and dragged it into the email.
The work arounds I've found that generally work:-
If the email I had been looking at is in my Inbox then I will file it away to a

I still find the number indicator against the Mail and the cursor is still
circling unendingly.
This unstop performance by the cursor ring has been on since I thought the
