In the small town of Logan City, where Perry Mason goes to defend his

Last night on MeTV I watched a couple episodes of Gomer Pyle USMC. In one
episode Gomer befriended Mrs. Gordon, a sweet older lady who loved cooking for
everyone. Her son convinced Gomer that she shouldn't be working so hard at her
age. So, Gomer took her to a restaurant for a nice meal. Lo and
Tonight I watched a Betty Hutton movie from 1952 called "Somebody Loves Me" and
noticed three different actors from TAGS. In brief roles were Mr. Goss (Fred

Saw our own Ellie Walker this afternoon on MeTV.She wasn't on any show,

Our local MeTV here in Oklahoma plays Mayberry RFD instead of TAGS at night.
The other night I was watching an episode where Sam Jones and Aunt Bee go
into a fabric shop, and you would never be able to guess who was shopping in
that establishment. None other than Nice Dress Nelly.

Watching a 1996 episode of Seinfeld (The Cadillac) for who knows how many
times when I spotted someone I had never noticed before. Jesse White, our
Fred Boone, in his last screen appearance. Jesse passed away the next year.
Also in the episode is Ann Morgan Guilbert. She was Ella when Cousin
Watching Gunsmoke today on MeTV Tuesday, I spotted J. Howard Jackson (the big
newspaper publisher that Andy hunted down). Also of interest in the same
show, there was a very small Cindy Brady a year before she began The Brady
Bunch.
I was thinking about TAGS the other day, and a trivia
I always remember Francis Bavier as Mrs. Barley in the original The Day the
Earth Stood Still from 1951. Never saw the remake. George Lindsey appeared in
an episode of M*A*S*H as a surgeon. My favorite though is an easy one, Don
Knotts in The Ghost and Mr. Chicken.Must have seen it 100 times.

I saw Andy smoking again last night in the cow thief episode. Also, this
morning on The Rockford Files Ben Matlock's prosecuter friend Julie Sommers
appeared as a woman who had an affair with his client's father.

I was reading yesterday's TAGS post, and someone was talking about which
political party watches TAGS.
That brought to mind something that happened last week on the political trail.
I was watching the news, and there was this woman running for the U.S. Senate

On today's Superman episodes on MeTV our Mayor Pike appeared in the first
episode as a pro-wrestling manager or similar role. In the second episode
Mayberry itself appeared as a small town with many suspicious
disappearances. There was a nice shot of the courthouse in one scene.

Over the weekend on The Rifleman Miss Peggy (Joanna Moore) showed up as the
wife of a journalist. Then when watching an early 60's episode of Gunsmoke
on YouTube our favorite barber (Howard MacNear) showed up as a store owner.
I guess he lost his medical license, ha ha!

I've always known that Everett Sloan (Jubal Foster in "Keeper of the Flame")
wrote the lyrics to "The Fishing Hole," and had always thought it unusual

I didn't sight these alumni, I just heard them. Listening to Radio
Classics, there was Gunsmoke with William Conrad (remember Cannon on TV?) as
