Greg,

Having seen these operations in operation I'd say that below the
conveyors is the greater hazard. I'd also say that a fire under the
conveyor has a good chance of becoming a fire on the conveyor. I think
you better balance the systems and provide conveyor shut-down (which
I'm sure you've already considered). And remember I'm the guy (or one
of the guys) on the Forum that's not a sprinkler everything type. On
the other forum I am though, or at least the "why a fire alarm if it's
sprinklered?" type of guy.
