The space above the ceiling is too deep for the CC heads. We are looking at using Ex Cov sprinklers. It is steel bar joists, metal deck and masonry walls in the concealed space, along with your typical HVAC, plumbing, electric. If the ceiling were removed, there would be no question with this installation. Actually, there is one question. The Blazemaster listing requires a smooth flat ceiling. Would metal deck and bar joist constitue a smooth ceiling? It appears that I need to use pendent sprinklers from the listings, but I wonder if the bar joists mean I don't have a smooth ceiling?
