Impossible to seal off - it is open on the sides to a Lobby basically. He is a stickler for sure for what he wants the way he wants it. He wanted us to run the pipe on the roof within the tapered insulation... I said sure, but we would not warranty it.

Its going to be a fight.

I believe that even with a deluge system you have to install heads per the
listing. So you couldn't do his method anyway.

Tell him to seal it all off and use FM200. That may cost a fortune but you have
to pay for what you want.

Subject: difficult one

The situations is this:

Preface - I have already exhausted the "you can't because" in trying to
convince him to run two lines exposed in this space.

Light Hazard
Corridor / Lobby with a center section Sloped, exposed construction 8
in on 12in - 20' in width
On each side the ceiling drops about 4' to smooth flat ceilings

The architect wants to find a way to eliminate exposed pipe. He prefers
to use sidewalls on the vertical 4' sides which I told him we could not do..
His question is can he install detection at the peak, use sidewalls as
described above with a deluge valve.

Does anyone have any other creative ideas for this situation?

Thanks,
Greg
