We did a church several with exposed construction. We had the painter paint
the pipe, fittings and hangers the same color as the ceiling. This was a
sloped ceiling and there was no way to enlist sidewalls and run the pipe up the
slope along the beam. We had to run horizontal branch lines between the beams
to get the spacing right.

The Arch. Wasn't happy but fortunately understood code requirements outweighed
his creative preference.

When it was complete we were all surprised how well the system just blended
into the background. Unless you really looked for it, the sprinkler system was
virtually invisible to the casual glance.

Impossible to seal off - it is open on the sides to a Lobby basically.
He is a stickler for sure for what he wants the way he wants it. He
wanted us to run the pipe on the roof within the tapered insulation... I
said sure, but we would not warranty it.

Its going to be a fight.
