I was NOT suggesting replacing the current rules with scripting. The
current rules are quite good and MUCH easier than a script. I, too,
could not program the code in Spam Bouncer - I just use it.
But, consider another possibility - suppose scripts were available.
This list would be a perfect place to cooperatively develop some VERY
effective spam filtering scripts - people could do parts and add them,
updates could be done as needed, new spammer techniques could be
brought up for discussion, etc. I believe all of us would benefit from
this.
Your thoughts? A good idea?
