Cool; thanks again. I am thinking it's probably overkill to replace my NAS just to get this one issue ironed out; I should probably just convert my files to FLAC and be done with it. I just need to figure out where to put them; I have 47% of each of my RAID hard drives used up with files already, but maybe there's room there for the FLACs, too, until I delete the ALAC files or archive them elsewhere.
