Wow! I really didn't know that this discussion has been going on for that long! But I'm curios now. I would love to redo a similar test and find out if I could hear a difference or not. I could swear that my plain Duet sounded worse than with an external DAC. To me from the first note on the difference was so obvious I didn't find it necessary to do a blind test. But who knows?
