This may well be theoretically correct, but I suspect that a yeast even
from the heaviest barley wine can be reused, and will still contain many
more cells that anything you could make in a normal starter. Maybe there
can be a few more mutations in the yeast, so you might not want to
reuse the yeast quite so many times, but one or two times should go all
right. Or do you (or anyone else) have serious reason to doubt it?
