My $0.02 for what's it's worth...

I have also taking the lab exam twice, and failed the TS section twice.
The second time I had enough tickets fixed to pass the section, and I
verified that all were working. I still came away with a significantly
lower score than expected. I was very careful to fix things, and not just
remove configs, so I'm really at a loss where I went wrong.

As well, I also did take the OWLE, and while it did help me focus on fixing
the configs as opposed to removing them, it certainly wasn't a magic bullet
for me to pass the TS section. It was a great experience, and I enjoyed it
imensely, but don't go into it thinking that you'll all of a sudden have
the tools to pass the TS secstion.
