Gruss. This is not about me. I've lost 45 pounds this year, so I have an idea what works for me. I have however had problems losing weight in the past, sure, and have talked to quite a few people about theirs. Based on that I tried to educate you a little, and ya, I should have known better. II am just trying to tell you, you over-simplify. Maybe I am harping on this but one of my pet peeves is the bitch who insists that because her husband's cousin's ex-wife's brother did x in situation y, then this is clearly the way to go, and facts circumstances and medical opinions be damned.
My original point -- there is no one right way and saying there is, is foolish. Shrug.
