> An interesting read. Indeed. For those interested I would recommend the book "Good Calories, Bad Calories" which goes into a lot of detail about how and why the current mainstream thinking on this topic got started, and what you can do with your diet to be healthier. There is also a documentary called "Fat Head" which covers a lot of this as well. About a year ago I declared war on sugar in my own diet, started walking an hour a day, and lost nearly 30 pounds in about four months. The holidays ramped up and I haven't been as strict with myself since then, but I'm about to declare "Sugar War II" and am aiming to lose another 15-20 to get to my target weight. I am glad to see a medical professional writing about this now.
