by the way, it appears cae_jones is figuring out how to get the softvoice child voice to sing there are 7 days (his dectalk version is on the album). an eloquence version is also being considered. in updating the album, I nearly exhausted the dectalk archive. It now includes the appropriate (for the nature of the album) examples from text assist and the reading edge, which I credited to creative labs and t.v. Raymond, respectively. by the way, I had an email with an attachment containing a zip file of all of snoopy bottons dectalk versions of childrens songs in text format. I lost it in a hard drive crash, however, and there doesnt seam to be a way to get it back. I also found a program called chipspeech which is similar to vocaloid but emulating early speech synthesisers like the texis instruments speech chip and the mozer chip made back in 1975. It seamed promising at first, but then I found its a vst and that it was made by plogue, who&
 #039;s previous vst (chipsounds) doesnt work that well with my vst hoast (reaper in this case). Im also fearing the interface is completely inaccessible and that its not even close to vocaloid in terms of how it works, you likely cant just import a midi and insert lyrics like you can with vocaloid. Thats a darn shame, because I was going to get the emulated ti chip to sing there are 7 days for the album.

@samtupy1 but Sam, witch services, ports and triggers I need to turn in off or on for the game works?As I previously said, I can have various programs with entering connections without problem, for example an apache webserver through my router without problems. I have open for this pc some ports, including in this moment 80, 25000 to 26000 and some others. What I need for STW? Nat forwarding? Nat loopback? My modem is a cisco cablemodem and it has all configurations of firewalls (in off) and port triggering. I only use a linxis router as a DHCP client (not server) for providing Wi-Fi connection. The wi-fy system of the cisco sux.What ports use the game? It’s connects through port 80? Hi.Well Once you pick all items up I dont know.Some should be destroyed some ships could be wrecks I guess.As for items I think some should be keepable some could be sold.You could choose what you wanted to keep but maybe to stop overloading the player would only keep functional items or look for items that could be good and anything extra could be sold as scrap automatically.I am not sure about what could happen to the ship after you finnish with it.This brings up the player skills in to play of a sort.Obviously you found an old junker with crappy stats etc you wont want to do anything with it.Also if you find a destroyed ship with lots of stuff all over the place its bust.But what if you found something like I did with fireflight 2 which I dont have anymore.True there was a wall that blocked access to part of the docs and there was a bit of damage that may have had to get repaired but apart from fuel i
 t was good to go, and was able to handle itself in a fight.In short if you were able to you could try to fix the ship or take it to a place to fix or get repaired for some cash.You could sell the wreck for cash which depending on class would earn you a lot of cash.On the other side it would be reasonable to suppose you could find something worth keeping in which case you would keep it upgrade it or something else.This would depend on where the ship landed how it crashed etc.some ships should have logs of what happened This could open up missions maybe extra quests to do for cash, maybe extra story elements maybe the locations of more treasure etc.It could also be bad.Ie the ship was destroyed by some pirate, and once you launch those pirates come back to finnish the job.You need to run or fight.you run you may be ok you fight you may get destroyed or seriously damaged and have to run.If you win you may get cash for ge
 tting completed an unfinished quest.These logs could also start rp events if enough were on your ship to do that with.

@Airina, what I believe Jason is planning with the mods is to allow people to make changes and additions to all the general types of things in the game, monsters, items, materials, maybe spells and skills. This will indeed involve adding propperties and editing text files. Apparently some aspects of game behaviour will be alterable through lua scripting, but how much can be done with simple text file alterin and how much will need scripting Im not sure. For example, whether you can add a new damage type, new spells and skills, either for monsters or in creating an entirely new player job or race. Well just have to see. Either way, modding should be awsome and mean that were not always dependent upon jason for adding new stuff to the game. @Ethin, I like the idea of being able to select different mods from the menu and having each persons mod as something of a separate entity, but the reason I didnt suggest this is Im not sur
 e how complex or possible it would be, sinse the relationship between source files for all the in game artifacts and how the game generates the dungeon floors and random encounters is likely an extremely complex one.As regards the paw reattach idea Im not sure if that is going a bit too far into the realms of crazy and also slightly game breaking, sinse if you can replace any limb with any other type of limb, well what is to stop you replacing all your parties feet with hands an giving them four attacks? Now, attaching a big buff set of dragon claws to your wolf might be an idea, but Im not sure if things should get quite so mangled that your producing weerd frankenstein hybrids. id personally keep it that the type of limb your reattaching has to be the same type as was lost, ie, a left hand attached to a left arm, or a right for paw attached to a right four leg. This could even make for interesting battle tactics targeting body par
 ts of your enemies in order to harvest some good replacements .

There are already quite a few swamp walk throughs on the db entery. Just go to the main page on the site, press c to go to the combo box, press enter, and type sw and it will say swamp. Press enter, and go down aero once to go! Button. Then press enter. Then, press h like 3 times and you should find htem.

Vmware may be having issues with USB 3 at the moment... When I try connecting a 2tb samsung M3 drive, which is also USB 3, I first get an error from fusion that it couldnt be connected to the correct controller, which may cause unusual behaviour, followed by XP complaining about an unrecognized device. Maybe this issue isnt just limited to that one windows VM...

Hmmm, Ive never heard of this thing, actually the only voice Ive ever heard on a bbc was a truly abysmal one my specialist school used to have on this weerd trivia quiz program that might have even been written for them specially, it manage to make three quarters plus three quarters plus a half, sound like Sree dwaarters plus sree dwaarters plus a mouth it was truly horrible! then again that wouldve been in about 1991 and I dont think synths were so advanced at that point.Needless to say my specialist school didnt have anything fun like moon lander, or even any fun early text games, indeed I dont know if they had any games at all as the only program I saw was that quiz thing. I only got to play moon lander because we got given a secon hand bbc micro with a bunch of games in the late 90s, though mostly I played the classics like centipeed, felix an the evil weavels, robot that sort of thing.

Funnily enough, the delight games do not work on ios, sinse they use this really weerd swipe left system for selecting choices and clicking books that didnt work with vo at all, only the first wizards choice worked, and that because its written in choice script. I mailed the devs but nada. Also however note there is the recently release jump in saus rs. from audazle which is a full on audiogame. There is apparently going to be an Ios version in the future which Im waiting for, but its now on the google play store and can be played on Android.

Hi,Another idea (for security reasons) is that you should store the mods folder in the users documents folder, not the games folder. As Program Files (x86)/Program Files is read-only to the non-privileged user, this would allow them to mod safely without getting write/save errors every time they save a game mod. Another idea is that each mod could have a sub-folder under the mods directory. This would allow, say, another mod with the same modifications to the wolf (as dark had expressed concerns about), but let your mod still have its own wolf modifications. This way, the main menu would have Select Mod option, in which youd select a mod from the list, press enter, and then hitting start would cause that mod to become the active mod.

Well, I would love to use winamp on my computer, but it crashes or delays. For example, I open an mp3 file, and it may start playing after 5 minutes or more. It works great on windows 7, but in windows 8.1, its not supposed to do so. At least for me. I wouldnt stop using it for any reason, but this problem is making me consider using windows media player.

As said before, your problem is impossible to solve this way. So, just a tip: try connecting your client to a telnet server on your own computer, and check what are send and receibed in both server and client. Youll see exactly whats wrong, and where the data is going to.Good luck.

Hi.Well looked at the rest of the games on that site as well as other ren py games.Bar that one I havnt found another that peaked my interest.On the ren py games page for example most are about girls with powers teens and the like most of this stuff is school based.The plots are from romantic to adult but most of the games follow the same thing.sciencegirls looks interesting but only mildly.blue rose is really good.The story is one of the best I have read well its a good introduction to the novel scene of this type.Are they any more of this type of games worth checking out I know there was another topic on the ren py engine somewhere but its really old.This game is a good example of a visual novel.Sadly every other game on the site the game came from is not my type at all and on the ren py site bar a few which do not have download links anymore the rest are not unless I havnt found anything else.th
 e games I have tried which are free are not accessable but on that note how old do the games need to be accessable.Maybe I will look at ren py again and see what games are accessable but there are so many years, if I know for example that all games after 2012 are accessable or may be then I will only search those years.I have builders at the house and upgrades and noise and well online gaming in the house is a bit hard but visual novels are not I want more of this type of gameplay.But I dont want adult contents/ fantasy / poor plotline/ crap and there is so much ren py content out.Sadly the game I do want dragnet seems not to be round.There are a few Japanese types of games in ren py and while they follow a similar theme I may touch those later.Its good to see another gaming type has opened up to us.I have hit at least 4 endings.tIpsGoing alone with your friend you like to help in the kitchen is not 
 a good idea.You need an army and an army of one is good for nothing but your death.Going with spirits may help you but its not needed.Doing your duty gets you home.Then again you dont have to go home, going with a wrebel and doing the unexpected may actually earn you a peacefull life.I havnt tried anything else.Going with just the hunter is one thing I tried and that goes so far.I have not tried randomly pushing chars around to see.Going the nice peacefull way seems a sure way to meet my gory end.Going with a wrebel may earn you peace while going with your boss gets you home.In either of the last 2 endings you actually end up being an overcharged powerhouse with some sort of light saber which semi reminds me of the japaneze games like shaddowline.Though in that game you are already powered up but upgrade as you go and such.

No there isnt, and due to our old friend copywrite, aka dont stand on the toes of the fat cat coorporations, it is unlikely there would be because an audio game developer wouldnt be able to use original characters or names like Crash Bandicoot. On the plus side however, there is Kirt Wolf shrine of the links from breakerbox games. Its got full 3D movement, including jumps, involves lots of treasure collecting and exploring, and its principle characters are like Crash bandicoot animals (kirt wolf is obviously a wolf, and his partner Burny is a polar bear). Im not sure whether the new breakerbox site has the game up for sale and download of the demo at the moment, but it might be worth checking.

Hmm, very interesting points, and thanks for the good luck wish.Custom cars: yescar builder: yesOK Ill stop with that... just yes to everything. I dont feel like listing that all out. But I actually think especially that the announcer idea is quite neet, as well as the ambiance. However, if possible, Id like people to put in more ambiances than just one on the track, such as a different ambiance on each part of the track, user defined parts of course. and I also plan to add the ability to include thunderstorms moving around on your tracks, as I previously mentioned, so yeah. I currently have sounds for 8 different cars, but am still needing many more than that, because 8 cars just isnt enough for a game like this, in which cars will be unlocked in higher levels as you become more efficient at driving. I unfortunately think Im going to need to create a separate topic requesting sounds as it doesnt seem that many peop
 le look to this one given the fact that my website is where most of the updates and demos are posted. As for the track builder situation, I think Im going to actually do both of my ideas. The reason for this is that some people prefer precise value entering, however even Id kind of like a track builder like the one I have in mind, because its really never been done before and I think it would be very interesting to do.Stay tuned, this game is far from being finished!

@SLJ, heres the thing: the developer cant fix the game to natively support running it on Mac, because BGT doesnt natively run on mac. Your virtualization layer is generating latency somewhere, either between the sound being generated and it hitting your speakers or headphones, between you pressing the key and your guest OS registering it, or both. Do you have the means to run Windows via bootcamp rather than virtualizing it? I think youd find the fight to still be tricky but at least not impossible if you werent stuck playing on *basically* a bad emulator. Short of that you might try boosting up Rosss stats (level 45 - 50 or so with 500 - 550 HP is normally good, but you might need better in order to compensate for the disadvantage).

Room 8... lets see. Just start, and jump to the top of all the platforms you can. After you go up the latter, you will see a concrete platform off to the right of that. Jump onto it. Go to the very end of it, then, jump, and keep pressing right arrow as you fall, until your x is 200. If you hit the ground, then take the teleporter to the left. It takes you back to that concrete platform. Then, wait there until you hear too lifts go by. Wait a couple more seconds so you have time while in the air to get to 200. Once you are there, let your self fall onto the lift and let it take you. Once you hear a beep above you, start jumping madly so you end up off the firt, then on the concrete. Then, take the door at the right of the platform, you will then get the key, and you will be put in the area with the winning door. Jump up while repeatedly pressing enter.

I have a private folder and I wont disclose much about it, other than the fact it is just game sourcecode, made with me and not many others at all. All game sourcecode. (foldername) Size: 1.8 GB, Attributes: R---D--, Modified: 4/25/2015 3:45:20 PM 4 of 49. Sure theres a lot of source projects in there, but still. Quite insain. And when it comes to stw, well that is only v0.61.6, not even a full release and I dont even have animals, weather, etc etc. And its already that big. So once all of that is added, well, it could get huge. ANd look at swamp, for example. swamp Size: 816.5 MB, Attributes: D--, Modified: 1/10/2015 10:59:06 AM 5 of 7. Almost a gig there as well. So in my opinion a game could most defenantly be a

Hello everyone! Id like to tell you about a few behind the scenes things going on. Basicly, the sleeping system is almost done. Us admins tested it with a command we have to force sleep, and it actually works! And believe it or not, sometimes saying part of a persons name, or something similar to it using the say command, will wake them up! As well as a close revolvershot, being hurt, a baddle going on, etc. Also, we have better tripping sounds, and a difference between most tripping sounds, and far falling sounds. And let me warn you, please be carefull if you fall off of trees, hate to say it but um, it kinda hurts. Be expecting a lot of server updating, as well as client updates in the near future as we add this new sleeping system!

Thank you, I think it must be enabled by default, but Ill check it out.Anyway I found another option to make jaws and maybe other screen readers detect the language automatically. In Microsoft word 2010, you must select the whole text, (ctrl+A), go to language in the review tab, and select language proofing. Then, you will have the option to mark the text as, and by the way, you need to select a language like Italian, german, French or another language. It works and jaws reads it as its used to do.

@Phil, Ill take a look at the list and see if I can make any suggestions, I dont think Ive seen a 20 usd accessible Iphone game, the most expensive Ive seen have been the inquisitor and other audio.it titles which cap out about 15 usd. @Tom, what you say agrees with what Ive hear myself, even really successful games like Swamp an Entombe make about 500 sales max. this is why this site is so tough on audiogame piracy. With mobile games however, one thing to remember is that many accessible games (at least on Ios), are either actually being written by developers with a quite well established line in graphical games, or are games marketed to sighted people with a very impressive pedigree of sales that just happene to have been made accessible through interaction with Voiceover. Somethinelse who make the pappasangre and audio defense games are a pretty major company, doing sound work for the bbc and other productions
  in the Uk. This is why they were able to attract big name actors like Sean Bean and Tony Cumberbach for their games and attract a lot of fan interest from outside the audiogames community. Audio.it, who have made a large number of games in a short time and have been experimenting quite wildly with the medium (not always successfully but Id certainly rather that than the alternative), have had a line of graphical gamees, indeed their inquisitor games can be played in graphical form where you get the audio dialogue but very different navigation methods. So, they get a lot of bleed over of users of their graphical games who will try their audiogames on a whim. Lastly, there are games like lost cities, king of dragon pass and A dark room. A dark room won a great many awards and praise, its just lucky that the developer proved to be a very nice chap who was willing to add access to it and its sequel. Im happy to say the game has done very well
 , particularly because it is a great way to highlight accessible games (there is a very nice podcast the developer produced which you can hear when you finish the game all about game access), however again how many people are picking up the game from the accessible games community and how many directly Im not sure.

Hmmm dark ages of kitchinsinc? funny, I was playing a quick round of golf the other day .@Rosie, I havent heard of or played kidnapped, I missed out on the hole dos gaming thing due to my first laptop being a windows 3.1 machine given to me at school in around 1995, and my general perception which persisted right up until about 2004 that computers werent for gaming. however, there is a game called Gma lander on the gma games site that is a free remake of an older title. I am not sure if it is the same as the dos luna lander, it involves judging the speed of a descending space craft (through both sound and speech), and usin the correct amount of thrust to slow its descent. If your looking for remakes of older titles you might want to give it a look.

Skype is the only one program who makes my computer crash. Although Im not facing so much problems these days, but when It crashes, everything goes down. @Airina, I agree fully on souns, especially playing element and attack souns together, indeed I always thought in Entombed 1 that would be a very simple way to create more unique monsters, such as play a wolf bark and growl over some fire sounds to create a hell hound. Im not sure about weapon crafting. The game will already by default be generating many weapons, even more so if ideas like the challenge rating to increase rewards happen, so the function crafting might serve in the game I dont know, particularly sinse there will be a limited amount of enemies per level so when you get to craft I dont know. besides, with hardness and material composition playing a part in the game, a body part sword might be a weerd thing to have sinse itd hardly be as hard as even a bronze one, indeed unless there was! some use for body parts chopped off enemies Im not entirely convinced they should be pickupable. Sinse crafting usually depends upon resource gat
 hering (even when those resources are living boddies), Im not exactly sure what place it has in a game like Entombed which is very much a  get through the dungeon affair.

try typinglsusbin a terminal to see if it sees the device at all. Did you install and load the guest additions? I use virtualbox, so the needed components will be called something different. As a plan b, try to mount your hdd on your host and set it up as a shared folder. Hope this helps.

Hi everyone,For those that are into Sport Manager games, PowerPlay Manager has gotten some accessibility updates. Since Ive been there last they launched a new sport, Basketball, and that lineup screen seems to be entirely accessible. The sports they have currently are Hockey, Soccer, Handball and Basketball, with the next sport probably Baseball, not sure when thats launching.Ill say right now that Hockey and Soccer have the best commentating match engine out of all the games Ive played. Also, I hate the games where in the middle of the match during the commentary it links to the players, and for screen reader users thats annoying IMO. Well, as people on here have said it can be done, but its definitely not recommended, the device is not invisible, remember. As for not discussing cracks, while yes that rule particularly states this for games, I still would be careful when posting topics like this. Besides talking about hacking a wifi network just aint the right thing to do, just saying.

@airina, Ive already added that very feature. When you attack with a weapon with a special attack type, you can also define the extra sound. I added a fire attack to my wimpy human and now his fist attack is combined with a flame sound.There will be options to craft in Entombed 2 and the materials of objects you return can be used to make things. Thats further down the line and I havent worked out all the details. As far as a goblin skin tunic or something, the answer (tentatively) is yes! Im also considering adornments when you want to cap your beautiful staff with a goblin head. Of course, goblins can do the same...Stereo attack sounds is an interesting idea. I might experiment a bit with that.Body parts chopped off have interesting uses. For one, there is always the possibility of chopping off a part of a hated enemy and beating them with it. But you might also need a part. What if youre missing an arm, for example, and you jus
 t chopped off a nice golem arm? Have the reattach spell handy (or some other magical means) and now youre no longer armless. You also have a nice rock arm instead of the wimpy fleshy one.This was possible in Entombed 1 too, but was very buggy.
