The connect light on the router or EtherPrint don't care about protocols such as AppleTalk, they are just looking for a valid Ethernet connection. If the light isn't coming on you have a problem. Guessing that the router's switch is 10/100 there MAY be an issue with the EtherPrint and 10/100 auto
