I would reccomend that you do a clean install, it may take a bit more time to reinstall everything, but it's usually more reliable, certainly that's what I'm going to do, and I plan on recording mac pod cast number 10, dedicated to the install of snow leopard, so stay tuned for that. On Au

To clarify, VMWare will boot up windows with the VMWare tools and then you choose install VMWare Tools from the Virtual Machine menu. After that it should get everything going. Unless you like narrator you might want to install Jaws/WindowEyes since the actual install is a windows app. CB Scot

That doesn't break it into two pieces. A single external volume of sufficient size could hold your 6GB image. Disk utility can clone your DMG to another device (USB thumb drive, hard drive or whatever). You just can't use a DMG that's been cut into two separate volumes. CB ben mustill-rose wro

Might want to just turn on SMB file sharing so you can mount your Mac's hard drive on your windows box. Specific steps vary depending on what flavor of OSX you are on. In the end, from your windows box you map a network drive and use \\your_mac_ip_address\your_mac_login_shortname as the folder
