Actually I have managed to fix this. I uninstalled Adobe Reader 10 and
downgraded to 9.1 and it works a treat. I can read the forms and fill them in
too. I long for the day that Adobe offers this level of functionality to the

Personally, I recommend VM fusion. The update to fusion which was
just released seems to have fixed the audio issues. At least, the
ones I noticed.
Additionally, using Fusion lets you still run mac programs while doing
stuff in a windows environment. My understanding is that bootcamp

I've got the new update, stumbled across it yesterday. One wonderful thing with
the new update is that the sound seems to be fixed, the sound in Windows is now
as loud and nice as that on the mac side.

I too am running an XP Pro virtual machine under Fusion and do not notice the
sluggishness you are referring to. It is true that the VM does not run as fast
as a native machine, however I've managed to partially solve some of the issues
by having a faster hard-drive. Occasiona
Even with my 4 gigs and me giving it 3 of those gigs it was sluggish to the
point where it took 5 minutes to boot. I even tried with half of my ram, 2 gigs
and it was worse. I don't now if there is a fix.

-Actually just as a quickie clarification, the option key on the Mac replaces
the alt key on Windows, so the command key is actually the windows key in this
case.
So when you're in Windows, the Windows key and alt keys are reversed. I.E. In
a Windows environment, from the

Did you turn off Voice over? then if so type narator in the run box.
Also if you can install jaws or any other windows screen reader you use,
type synthvol32 and the volume control should come up if you can't get
in the system tray. If I'm wrong, please someone else correct me.

Hi just trying a trial of vm fusion 3.
I'm having trouble figuring out how to start and stop the machine.
Previously i tried 2.0 trial and it worked.
The layout is different in 3.0.
I installed xp i have sound but narrator isn't coming up.
