Welcome, David!
I can offer some help with setting up IDE environment if you need that.
That's what me and my student use for coding synfig. We both very lame

The Synfig terminology will be reworked in following way:

I like the "Library" suggestion! "File->Place" doesn't looks god for me.
For "Bline" I still like the "Curve", but after all arguments the
Spline is OK for me. Also I like Nikita's "Shape" alternative. In

All we need to do is remove "select all" event for Layer Tree widget.

I have noticed that last time you are working intensively on preview window.

As we all know Synfig have no sound support yet.
I'm proposing to add JACK-transport to the preview window. So preview

Hi!
Awesome! That works even for the tangents and width ducks at the same time!!!
That's very useful for removing parts of bline together with width data!

Hi!
Great work!
I have compiled the latest changes in your branch and found one issue.
When you extend the bline from its end more than 1 time, the
widthpoints are moved to the start of bline.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Use Draw tool to create advanced outline (use tablet with pressure
sensitivity).
2
No time to wait! We are releasing Synfig Studio 0.63.02 - a minor
update, delivering a fix for performance issue introduced in previous
version.
Some users experience inconvenience because of the new interpolation
method for Advanced Outline layer, which is very accurate, but slow.
