I bought the app. The topo maps are scanned (Some day we will have vector
maps). When the screen resolution goes above .5 mile, the
image automatically goes to the aerial view.
It takes 10 minutes to download a map section.
Sometimes when I pinch or spread the screen it drops pushpins instead.

I use a service, that back up my hard drive over the internet. The one I
use is http://mozy.com/, but there are several out there. Costs me less
than $100 to have a frequently updated image of my laptop hard drive
(automatic, transparent, and encrypted). I would not call this archival,
per se,
That is pretty slick. I do high speed stills, but it would never capture
the surface tension effects.
They did a nice job of adding wet sounds to go along with the droplet
effects. :)

I found a Stag Beetle in Dayton Ohio back in the late '70s. I was

I have flown in to EVV about 20 times. It's a smallish airport, and
if you cherish 737s and enough overhead storage to keep your
briefcase and laptop bag from under your feet, the flights can be a

years ago, it had a LOT of caves listed by name. I believe that the
NSS worked with the NGS to purge the list of most of those locations
(except commercial and well known locations) for safety reasons.
