When ever I open 2 files together to copy one file's data to another, I get following error: Microsoft Excel Excel cannot complete this task with available resources. Choose less data or close other applications. OK After selecting Okay button, I get following dialog box: Microsoft Excel Excel found unreadable content in 'DAILY EXPENSES.xls'. Do you want to recover the contents of this workbook? If you trust the source of this workbook, click Yes. Yes No After I select yes button, a third file gets opened " daily expenses (repaired) ", and I get the following dialog box: Repairs to 'DAILY EXPENSES.xls' Errors were detected in 'DAILY EXPENSES.xls,' but Microsoft Office Excel was able to open the file by making the repairs listed below. Save the file to make these repairs permanent. Damage to the file was so extensive that repairs were not possible. Excel attempted to recover your formulas and values, but some data may have been lost or corrupted. Click to view log file listing repairs: C:\DOCUME~1\dhanak\LOCALS~1\Temp\repair02600_01.txt Close The error dialog box opens after I open the second file, and the error dialog specifies problem with the file which I open second. Hi bro, well, it does not make any difference wither who has created or sent us a folder. Once a folder is shared, file can be shared, (exchanged) from any of the sides. For example, I have created a folder, and sent it to you, then as soon as you accept it, that folder will be in both of our computers. Now, any time, you drop a file, or I drop a file in that particular folder, automatically, it will be uploaded and downloaded in other's computer, so files will be available in both computers. I use this for my daily accounts: I have shared a folder between my shop's laptop and home laptop, so everyday, once I enter my daily business data in my accounts, I just drop that file in that folder, so it starts uploading and when I open my home laptop, it downloads and replace the previous files, so sometimes, I also do my pending work at home, and then after updating from home, I drop it in that folder, so it replaces the previous files in my shop's laptop... In dropbox, we have 2 main options to share files: 1. Sending someone a file using " public folder. " 2. Sharing files with someone using " share folder option ". Now, 1st let's throw a light on Sending someone a file using public folder option: Note: Please remember, that using this option, you can send only 1 single file. For sending multiple files, you have to send it as a zipped file. Steps: If you go to my documents, you will find an icon " my drop box ". Open it and you will find public folder. Open this public folder and paste your desired file in this folder. Now it will start uploading To check it's status of uploading, press insert+f11 to open the system tray icon and check with down arrow keys " dropbox", or just press letter D, and mister jaws would say something like, " dropbox 1 file uploading..." Once it is uploaded, it would say, " dropbox all files up to date ". Once it's done, go to my dropbox/public folder, and keep the cursor on your file which you are uploading. Here, press the application key, and open dropbox sub menu, and then finally, hit enter on " copy public link " option. Now go to your desired place, or the Email which you are sending and just paste the link there, and you are ready to go! Now about " share folder " option: 1st trying to throw a spot light on this option: share folder option gives us freedom to share a folder between computers. I was looking for a way to save folders of outlook express in text format, and tried many things, but unfortunately was not succeeded. I tried to do it with 2 softwares, " outlook extract pro ", and " outlook Spiller " , but was not able to use it. Then while trying and playing around and harassing my little laptop, I finally saved my outlook express folders in text format, instead of wasting time in saving 1 by 1 message using save as option, so thought of sharing with my dear friends. I am providing the steps, in case anyone wishes to try. Note: In order to use this method, one should have both, outlook express and Microsoft office outlook in his/her PC. Steps: 1. In outlook express, go to file menu and select export submenu, and hit enter on messages... 2. Now you will be presented a dialog box saying, " Export Messages dialog, This will export messages from Outlook Express to Microsoft Outlook or Microsoft Exchange". Then select okay button. 3. Then you will be landed on another dialog box saying, " Choose Profile dialog, Profile Name: Outlook ", just select okay button. 4. Now you will get another dialog box saying, " Export Messages dialog, Select the mail folders you want to export from Outlook Express". Here there will be 2 radio buttons, "All folders ", and "Selected folders". So select the selected radio button and press tab, and you will be landed on the list of your outlook express folders. 5. Select your desired folder, and press tab and finally, hit the okay button. Now, it will start to export messages to MS Outlook . 6. Now open Microsoft outlook, and you will get a dialog box saying," Microsoft Office Outlook dialog, Outlook is not currently your default program for E-mail, Calendar and Contacts. Would you like to make it the default program? " Just select no button. 7. Now pressing tab, go to the personal folders tree view, and you should get your outlook express folder in that list. 8. Keep the cursor on that folder and press the application key and select open in new window option. 9. Now you should get list of messages, so press control + A and select all. 10. Now from the file menu, select save as... Then you will get a normal save as dialog box, so Give the file name you want, and save it to your desired location. Now it should start saving the messages in text format. Note: If there is a large number of messages, it requires some time, and do not worry, as jaws will stop speaking during the saving process. Once the saving is done, Mister Jaws will start to speak again normally. How can I save those mails in word or text format at once? There is an option of save as, but it's only for a single mail. I have also tried export sub menu which is in the file menu and selected messages, but it gives only 1 option to export messages to Microsoft outlook express. Actually, one of my friend did it once for me, when once I had to format my laptop. Hi Amar, there are no limits, you can send mails to as many addresses as you want, by writing in the bcc field. But, I don't know, if anyone has faced this problem, but when I try to send mails to different mailing lists by writing their addresses in the bcc field, sometimes, the mails does not reach to some groups, but it reaches fine when I am sending to personal emails. Sorry, if you know this, please ignore it, but I would like to share with you, as it will come in one single mail, rather than writing you a another mail. I write multiple addresses in the bcc field, by following 2 ways. 1. If there is not more addresses, then, I will write just the addresses and put a comma and leave a space between the addresses, after writing each address. Example: bhavesh, amar, a...@gmail.com 2. If there are more addresses, which sometimes are difficult to remember, then, I use select recipients option. To use this option, I am writing the steps below, in case, it may be useful for someone. 1. Once you are ready to send the mail, go to tools menu and hit enter on, " select recipients...". 2. Once you get the dialog box saying, " select recipients dialog", press tab until you get, " address list list view ". 3. As you will be landed on your address book's contacts list, here you can select addresses to which you want to send the mail. So, keep the control button pressed, and just move your cursor down and press space bar on your desired contact to select it. 4. Once you have finished your selection, press tab and you will find the following buttons: To:-greater button. If you press space bar on this button, then your selected contacts will be automatically written in the to : edit field. cc:-greater button. If this is selected,then all your selected contacts will be automatically written in the cc : edit field. bcc :-greater button. Hmmm, according to our issue, this is the button, we are looking for. Just press space bar on this button. Now, press tab and you will see the list of your selected contacts. You can check your selection, and if you want to remove a selected contact from this list, just press delete button on that contact. And if you want to add another contact, just press tab and go to the address book list and follow the same steps. Once your selection is finished, press enter on the okay button. Hi, if I am not wrong, is it like giving a group name, for example, "friends ", and add selected Email addresses of our friends, so we can send mails to them at once by writing just " friends " in the to:, cc or bcc edit field? If that is not the case, please ignore this mail. And if my guess is right, please try the following: 1. In OE, press control + shift + B to get the address book. 2. In the address book, press control + G to get the new group... option. 3. Now you will be landed on an edit field saying, " group name: edit". Type in the desired group name, let's say, " friends ". 4. Now press tab and select the next button, " select members button ". 4. As a new dialog box will be opened, press tab until you find, " address list list view" , ( the list of your contacts). 5. Now, to select and add members from this list, just keep the cursor on the desired contact, and press tab and press space bar on the button saying, " select-greater button". Then press tab and you will see that contact in the list next to this button. 6. Keep on selecting your desired contacts, and finally, select the okay button. You can also select your desired contacts at once, instead of selecting it one by one, by using the list selection option, by keeping the control button pressed and then just pressing space bar on the desired contact, and once you have selected all the desired contacts, without moving the cursor, just press space bar on the, "select-greater button". 7. After selecting the contact and the okay button, you will again land on the new group dialog box. Here also select okay button and your group is created. Sorry, I am not that sharp in computer, hence I don't know any such method to convert files in one go. How ever, I think, you should try to convert files to a new folder, and then you wont be confused between the old files and new converted files. To do this, please uncheck the check box, " out put to same folder as source files ". Now, when you press tab, you will get brows button. Select this button and either create a new folderfirst or create in this dialog box. Then select your desired folder by hitting okay button, and After selecting your desired out put folder, press tab and hit enter on the convert button, and your new converted file will be created in that new folder. When you get dialed numbers, just press the left arrow, (on the joystick). Now you will get received calls list and again one more time press the left arrow, and you will get your missed calls list. If you have a shorter address per line then you can move it more towards the right by keeping a higher indent on the left. If you dont understand what I have tried to explain then call me personally Never use the Tab button it is the shabbiest way to do this. Sometimes it is easier to use a table and put in 2 colums with one row. do not type in the first column but only in the second column and keep using the enter button between the lines. Needless to say you must hide gridlines before sending or printing. Both the ways I have suggested will ensure that it is absolutely accurate without sighted assistance and you wont have a problem in case the paper or margin size changes. Since a lot of us havent seen since birht it is best to understand these concepts by letting people explain this on the palm. I know that some trainers do this by using clay. Hi, just thought of replying, if it would be helpful for you. Note: I have not used N72, it's possible, some options may vary. About your first problem. 1. Go to settings and open profiles. 2. As you will get a list of profiles, select general and open it. 3. Then you shall get 2 options as activate and personalize, then, select personalize. 4. Now, scroll down and when you reach message alert tone,press the selection key (joy stick in some mobiles), or press the option key (key 1) on it. 5. If you have pressed the selection key, then, you will be presented with the list of your tones, and if, you have pressed the option key, then select the change option. 6. Scroll to beep tone or your desired tone and press the selection key or key 1. Scroll up and down and check wither your desired tone is been selected as, message alert tone or not. 7. Once you have done the changes, you should be also sure that your mobile is set to general profile, means the profile "general " should be activated. To confirm this, after following the above steps, press the back key ( key 2) and when you land on the profile general, press the selection key and this time select activate option. Now, it's done. About your second problem Please tell clearly, wither it is just the screen reader's problem or even you are unable to type the text correctly. Well, if you are unable to type the text correctly, I think, your predictive dictionary mode is on. To solve this, if I am not wrong, go to the text message window and when you are in the new creating message window, before typing, try to press the number or the hash key, ( the key just under the number 9). Press it several times, and if it says dictionary, then change until it says auto or upper case, and then try to type. Hope this information would be helpful. Hi, the simplest way to send a file via Bluetooth is: 1. go to the desired file, but do not open it, as some of the mobiles do not have an option to send, once you open a file. 2. Select options, and scroll to send sub menu, and select it. 3. When you select the send option, you will get some options such as via multi media, via infrareds,and via Bluetooth. 4. Select the option, via Bluetooth. 5. If your Bluetooth is not on, then the phone will give you a message asking, " Bluetooth is currently switched off, switch on now? " 6. Select yes, and the phone will start searching for other available Bluetooth devices. 7. Once it will finish searching, a list of all the available Bluetooth devices will be presented. 8. Select the desired Bluetooth device and just select it by pressing the okay button. 9. Remember, the Bluetooth device to which you are sending the file is on, as it will not show an option to on the Bluetooth automatically like it asked while sending. The Bluetooth device to which you are sending the file, will get a message asking" receive message from... ? " Select the yes/accept button and it will start sending the file. Hi, as we know, each recorder has an earphone, from where the audio is been sent out. One of the plugs of the cable is connected to the recorder instead of the earphone, which will be connected to the PC, where we usually connect the mike. Hence, the audio will be output from the recorder and will be input in to the PC. Now, as I have mentioned about Goldwave software, it has a special settings by which you can set the quality of your recording. Means, suppose you are in column 1 with 4 columns, and you want to just enter data in column 2 and 4, according to your question, when your cursor is in column 1, just press tab and you will land in column 2, enter your desired data and again press tab twice so you will land on column 4. I don't know the cost in India, as I am living in Dubai. But before going for N81, just go and have a look on it's keys, as it does not have any gabs to separate one key from another, means like I used N70, it was having separate keys and it was bit easier to find the keys. Hi, to be frank, I am not an expert in computers, I just share what all I know. And coming to our issue, you are write, yahoo is not that much accessible with jaws compared to skype and msn. I am not mentioning Google talk as I haven't used it, for which I may sooner write to you how to use. I think, you can try to press Ault + tab while receiving a call, but I am not sure, sometimes, the conversation window opens of the person who is calling you. One thing, I would like to share, despite you may be knowing, that to see who is online, you can see the graphics numbers or press insert + f to see the font. Normally, the offline contacts graphics numbers are 122 where as the online contacts fonts are always bold. So, you can just go to a contact and press insert + f and if Mister Jaws says "font is bold! ", then that contact is online. Hope my information is useful for someone.
