Re: CSmold/fungus questions - Spray ingredients
I'm no expert, Claire, but I use pretty much the same mix in anything and on anything. The quantities vary according to whether I am just topping up a spray bottle that is running low or starting from scratch. And I would think about recording my quantities a few days later, when I have forgotten how much of what I put when. I'm not terribly happy about using plastic bottles, which get such bad press, but that's 2006 for you. I think Daddybob's description of his use of a Xylitol-containing mix and his sinus clearing is a classic. It got me using Xylitol, that's for sure. Personally, I think I would use just the chemicals in the standard mix, and add the vegetable ones at time of use. Just cautious, I suppose. Others would know better than I. No advice on quantities; I do everything by instinct based on what I vaguely remember from the silverlist. Again, others with the right kind of brain could advise here. As for solids - as much as will dissolve in the liquid. Yes, it can taste strong. I can always dilute with CS if I want to, but I tend not to. It's only one or two or three sprays at a time, after all. I breathe in at the time, then out through my nose. I also spray up the nose when I'm brave enough or accurate enough, or around the outside of my nose if I'm not (accurate enough). Similarly, in and around the ears. If I were starting from scratch now I would have CS as the liquid, or CS/Himalayan salt brine, with MSM and any other crystalline ingredients dissolved in it, eg Xylitol, possibly a touch of Borax, or any other kind of salt or solid I wanted to add for whatever reason. I know Sol doesn't like me to put salt and CS in the same mix - but I'm not likely to use two sprays, and I want salt as well as CS. Very small quantities being used here, anyway, as Terry commented once. Then I would add my DMSO and H2O2, with quantities according to how brave I felt at the time. Sorry, but I'm practicing for when I'm a really old lady. Then a few days later, when I remember what I forgot to put in, I add however much I can. Scientific as that. Why be tense? Look at it as an art form. What happened when medicine stopped being an art? Yeah, meals are often an adventure at my house, too. Other times they're just a chore. Rowena Ken Uzzell on his site has a freely downloadable program and database of frequencies, including mold and fungus (and viruses and bacteria and myco plasm and and and...) Dear Trudy, Welcome to the list. I hope we'll be able to give you at least a little help for your son. You write: My son has been diagnosed with variegate porphyria with 'iron overload'. He is experiencing extreme stomach pain; the skin on his hands is easily broken, bleed and scar and now blistering. There does not seem to be much information on this conditon, related symptoms or successful treatment. His doctor has offered little information.more testing. Is there any one on this group familiar with this 'condition' that could help. I just did a Google search. This article describes VP as an inherited disorder... http://www.emedicine.com/derm/topic450.htm The summary description I found interesting: Causes: VP arises from autosomal dominant inheritance of a gene mutation encoding a defective protoporphyrinogen oxidase enzyme protein with resultant deficient activity at approximately 50% of normal activity. The disease in most individuals with such a mutation remains clinically silent, but these persons are at risk of becoming symptomatic if exposed to environmental factors, most often drugs that can induce overt phenotypical expression. Translated to plain english, this is a genetic condition carried on a dominant gene that causes an important enzyme system to screw up, that usually remains dormant unless triggered by something in the environment, such as a drug. grrr With that as a guide, has your son recently been exposed to any novel environmental factors such as a new drug, chemicals, dental work, or anything else you can think of that might have stressed him? CS might be applicable to some of the side effects of the condition, since it kills germs and might promote healing. I think you need to consider what's triggering it. Please keep us informed. So, the auto off and meters are absolutely useless with CC. #10 [10 gauge] copper wire is the 'thang' Electrical Industry standards makes sure that copper wiring is pretty darned pure stuff. Shelf like for CC is about 1 to 2 weeks. It oxidizes and falls out of suspension over time as a grey/green deposit. If you drop a piece of copper in CS, it'll pull every little bit of silver out of the water and drop it as a fuzzy black mass that smears silver under pressure. For lungs: I just got a nebulizer am planning to nebulize CS w/MSM (1/4 tsp. MSM dissolved in 2 oz. CS). I'm wondering about also using Oil of Oregano, Grapefruit Seed Extract Tea Tree Oil either separately or in some combination(s), how much to use (what measurements). For sinuses: I know some of you have used Xylitol dissolved in CS - is it 1/4 tsp. dissolved in 2 oz CS? Any other suggestions? (Hydrogen peroxide?) for ears: Xylitol/CS? I know this has been discussed here I did save a few posts (which is where I got the above ideas), but that was before I knew I had this particular problem so I hope you don't mind revisiting this topic. I am getting to the desperation point with all this. I was extremely ill with a serious yeast overgrowth/infestation since last October. After visits to various naturopaths, followi! ng a st rict diet much experimentation with treatment I finally have that under control but the other problems remain. I have done a 3 week cleanse to get rid of the toxins. Drs. thought at the time the lung problem was due to the yeast overgrowth. I now feel it was related/exacerbated by it but that it is a separate mold issue. (I was unknowingly exposed to mold, probably aspergillus sp? a couple of years ago.) I am quite certain the lung problem is not bacterial or viral in nature. I ingested large amounts of CS w/H2O2 used a cool mist humidifier to nebulize CS. While the CS mist helped a bit it did not get rid of it. I am extremely grateful for any suggestions! Carica papaya. Common Name:Pawpaw, Paw Paw, Papaw, Poor Man's Banana, Hoosier Banana, etc. (In Australia the tropical papaya, Carica papaya, is also known as Pawpaw). The one that grows through out the American southwest is considered toxic, this IMO, is due to the action of the enzymes. The toxic one has been used in conjunction with fermenting kombucha tea and taken as a cancer remedy (not FDA approved) and is mentioned in Harald Tietze Kombucha books as well as made popular by the Australia's Kombucha House (TM) . The entire fruit may be used. At any rate buy organic papaya at your local super market. and as Mark says grind the seeds. Ed Kasper -Original Message- From: Mark S. Slippery Elm (inner bark, powdered) is very soothing to the intestines and also healing. You can buy it at a health store that carries herbs or order it in bulk online. Mix approximately 1 heaping teaspoon in a glass of water and mix it in. It thickens like Metamucil, but is healing, not irritating. Can take as much as is tolerated. I would take 3 or 4 times a day between meals or more often if desired. Keep away from any allergy foods like milk and milk products since he is allergic to it. Don't eat irritating foods with a lot of roughage, at least for a while. Some other foods like acidic fruits, tomatoes and citrus may be irritating, at least initially. Eat foods like cooked oatmeal etc. Take the Slippery Elm bark and let the intestines calm down. Wean off the Imodium. (Look into food combining.) There are things like Dr. Richard Schulze's Intestinal Formula #2 which can be taken in a similar manner to the Slippery Elm bark. It has that and psyllium, bentonite, pectin, activated charcoal, ground flax seed, etc in it. It can be made without charcoal for long term use... I found it a bit gritty because of the charcoal. RE: CSIs it water or CS?
I can think of 4 ways of testing for CS. 1. Shine a laser through the bottle or through some of the liquid in a clear container. In a dark room you should see at least some tyndall effect (can see the beam in the liquid). 2. If you have a good sense of taste you can swish some in your mouth for a couple of minutes. After that there should be a slightly bitter or metallic aftertaste indicating the colloidal silver or EIS. 3. Put some liquid in a shot-glass. Put a few sprinkles of salt in it. You should see a slight cloudiness or bluish cast forming over time. Have indirect light behind it. 4. Depending on the quality of the CS/EIS you may be able to get it to react with hydrogen peroxide. Put some CS in a shot-glass and add a drop of (drugstore 3%) H2O2 to it. Watch it closely right from the start. It may react by going cloudy for a while or changing color or something. Add a few more drops if there is no effect within a short time. For all of these cases, the tap water should show no effect. Dan From: Silver Smith [mailto:cag@gmail.com] Sent: Monday, June 19, 2006 1:05 PM To: silver-list@eskimo.com Subject: CSIs it water or CS? RE: CSProbiotics
Good news for leaky gut sufferers that the inulin/FOS they use heals leaky gut by supporting bowel lining epithelial cell growth as well as stimulating a fluorish of probiotic Bifidobacteria. I haven't looked this one up or got it on my website yet. I'll put it in the inulin references; other studies that show reduction in aberrant crypt foci (beginning bowel cancer cells) as probiotic populations fluorish. Two experiments were conducted to determine if supplementing soluble fiber (fructooligosaccharide, xylooligosaccharide or gum arabic) to a semi-elemental diet would beneficially change cecal and colonic microbiota populations and enhance epithelial cell proliferation. Experiments 1 and 2 used identical dietary regimens; mice and rats were given free access to a powdered semi- elemental diet. Animals were assigned to one of the four following treatment groups: control, no supplemental dietary fiber, fructooligosaccharide, xylooligosaccharide and gum arabic. Dietary fiber was supplied via drinking water at 30 g/L. In Experiment 1 populations of Bifidobacteria and total anaerobic flora were enumerated from the contents of the cecum and colon of weanling mice. Consumption of fructooligosaccharide increased (P 0.05) the concentrations of Bifidobacteria and the ratio of Bifidobacteria to total anaerobic flora. In Experiment 2 tissue from the cecum and distal colon of weanling rats was examined for morphological changes of the mucosa. Consumption of xylooligosaccharide increased (P 0.05) cecal crypt depth and labeling index relative to the other three treatments. Consumption of gum arabic and the control diet increased (P 0.01) cecal proliferation zone. Consumption of xylooligosaccharide and the control diet increased (P 0.01) cecal cell density (number of cells in a vertical-half of the crypt). Distal colonic crypt depth was greatest (P 0.05) in controls and rats fed fructooligosaccharide, intermediate in those fed gum arabic, and smallest in those fed xylooligosaccharide. Re: CSyeast overgrowth
Dear Cheryl, I just started taking CMO for my incipient arthritis, and learned from the literature that came with it that it can help Lupus! Might want to look into it... Good luck! Marshalee PS, after only 3 days on CMO my feet are feeling better, for the first time in years I can bend my toes, and my finger joint pains are easing. I think this is gonna work for me!!! Yay! CSCurcumin
The more I have read about curcumin over the years, the more impressed I have been. I write this apropos the glioblastoma one member's relative is suffering, because curcumin apparently transits the blood/brain barrier, given its documented role in preventing Alz. disease. Here's my message: Getting a daily dose of curcumin is very easy. Serve up some ordinary plain yogurt. Put in a teaspoon of turmeric powder, which is quite inexpensive in bulk at Costco. Stir it up. The taste is something like a very mild yellow hotdog mustard. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner; it could not be easier to do. JBB -- The Silver List is a moderated forum for discussing Colloidal Silver. CS
List, Many members know about big Pharm fraud, but few examples are as compelling at the L-Tryptophan scam, which I recall very, very well. BROJON, although being rather uneven in my opinion, has a great piece which I am pasting below. THE INSIDER'S STORY OF AN L-TRYPTOPHAN RESEARCHER A Response To Reader's Requests I have received a number of letters to the editor asking about which L-tryptophan is the best and where to buy it. Many readers want to start using it each morning to maintain their circadian rhythms. For almost 20 years it has been impossible to purchase L-tryptophan. So where did I buy my tryptophan for my research for the last 20 years? During the 1980's when I started my circadian rhythm experiments, I used the common L-tryptophan found in stores. I soon found there were two types --one with B6 and one without any B6. I tried several brands of each and found that the ones with B6 did not work at all in my experiments for shifting or controlling the circadian rhythms. Thus proving that B6 prevents tryptophan from getting into the brain. Using B6 will definitely disrupt your normal circadian rhythms. I later found that almost all the L-tryptophan in all brands was made from the same bulk raw product from Japan. The Showa Denko company had developed a method of using genetically modified bacteria to extract copious amounts of L-tryptophan from milk. Since the bacteria was removed and reused, what remained was pure, cheap L-tryptophan. It is now the same method used for making all the other amino acid products. In November 1989, the CDC made the false claim that L-tryptophan was causing a new disease or disorder called Eosinophilia Myagia Syndrome (EMS). The symptoms of EMS were exactly the same as trichinosis. Trichinosis is a parasite which comes from eating improperly cooked pork. My research found that about half of all American's have contracted the trichinosis parasite. But for most people it is sub-clinical, meaning most people don't even know that they have trichinosis. This sub-clinical form of the disease is the primary reason for most autoimmune disorders such as fibromyagia and chronic fatique syndrome. The body immune system attacks itself in an attempt to get rid of the parasite. The disease is caused by microscopic worms embedding by the millions into your muscles. Then they form a tiny impenetrable cyst which protects them from medication and from your own immune system. No effective medication has been found for ridding the body of trichinosis. For most people the original symptoms were a slight fever like the flu, and achy muscles as the trichinella enter the muscles and become encysted. It takes about a week and later those early symptoms go away and are forgotten. Those were exactly the same symptoms which were identified as EMS by the CDC. In the first week after the CDC alert for EMS, the doctors before reporting EMS needed to perform a trichinosis test. In the second week after the CDC alert, the trichinosis test requirement was strangely dropped, so all the usual hundreds of thousands of cases of trichinosis were then falsely reported to the CDC as the new tryptophan disorder, EMS. The CDC also changed the reporting requirement to include: observe the symptoms and also, secondly interview the patient for having previously or still using L-tryptophan. Thus, suddenly this became an L-tryptophan disease. But it wasn't at all. It was just the common trichinosis. I was using L-tryptophan in my research studies but I never had any symptoms. Something was very wrong with the CDC story about EMS and the ban on sales of L-tryptophan. I suspected then that this was a fraudulent story and I have kept in my files, several years worth of all the CDC reports and university research reports into the suspected causes for EMS. The CDC even blamed Showa Denko for making a contaminated product and forced them out of business. But NO cause of EMS was ever found and the story was quietly dropped, but the ban for local drug stores to sell L-tryptophan has remained. Mysteriously and quietly the ban on sales has been dropped in the last year and now many small sellers are using the Internet to push L-tryptophan. Why? What has suddenly changed? The original reason for banning the sale of L-tryptophan is still a mystery. I suspected the illegal ban was bought and paid for by Eli Lilly which made nearly a trillion dollars by selling Prozac, which was designed to replace L-tryptophan as a means to raise the level of serotonin in the brain. Of course the reason for the brain chemical imbalance or low level of serotonin in the first place was the over-abundance of B6 in the diet which eliminates L-tryptophan from the body. That strange relationship is why I have studied and done experiments with both L-tryptophan and B6 for the last

Re: CSiron overload
Hi Zeb Thanks! I would appreciate the info. We need all the help we can get! We are having as much trouble with doctors and referals to specialists as we did getting a positive diagnosis. My son finally got in to see a GI specialist, five months after he was first diagnosed. He is to start the 'blood letting' this week. They plan to take one pint a week until he can't take it anymore then reduce it to once every two weeks and so forth until the iron overload is somewhat controlled. He has stopped taking vitamin C and multi vitamins. Thanks for your help!! It is important that your son does not take vitamins with iron in them or to much vitamin C as this vitamin causes iron absorbtion. -- Yahoo! Sports Fantasy Football '06 - Go with the leader.
