CSquestion for Jason

2015-02-20 Thread sol
I have cleaned my SG-6 brew jar (gallon) and installed brand new
electrodes.
I don't remember you mentioning if cleaning with peroxide is ok? Well
rinsed afterward with DW, wiped dry with clean paper towelling.

Electrodes wiped with paper towelling wetted with DW.

The DW reads 1.7 uS on my PWT. Not 0.3 unfortunately, but the best I
have at the moment.

I have set the generator to the lowest setting, and plan to check tyndal
when it shuts off.
From there I will decide whether to stop at that point and check uS or
raise the setting a bit and check again and so on to see how the tyndal
changes, and whether I have sparklies at any point.

I don't expect to get a 10 uS product with no or faint tyndal and no
sparklies but I should get a much better product, right?

I no longer have a distiller, so 0.3uS distilled water isn't going to be
available, and to be honest, I don't see me ever getting another
distiller and double or triple distilling to get the water down to that
level. Just can't manage it anymore.

what do you think?

2015-02-20 Thread Dee
Hi Sandee, lovely to hear from you, I believe our water contains all sorts of
contaminants ie the reading of 350 or thereabouts before distilling. I believe
it contains chlorine etc., but even so, it still reads '0' after distilling. I
realise also that the meter is not accurate per say but accurate enough for
that I would think. The CS I make is always, without exception, clear. I can
go up to thirty but don't, I normally have it about 15.

You take care Sandee and actually it's cold here, but not too bad by world
standards I believeregards Dee

Yes, your EIS will be completely fine.

You don't have to go crazy to get a good end product, especially with

Dee,
I don't have to double or triple distill since I haven't had a
distiller for years and years now. Might have been air contaminants or
water contaminants. Ode and I used to discuss the issue a lot. But used
to be my DW absolutely had to read 0.3uS on my Hanna PWT meter or I'd
get CS that was not clear. I believe your meter must be a TDS, and I
don't know what your '0' reading equates to on a PWT, but I know the
range is different. Anyhoo, when my distiller was new, one pass did it,
but as the still aged, it took two or more passes to get the DW pure
enough. Funnily enough, I now get clear CS with commercial DW that reads
up to about 3.0 uS. But in the old days, commercial DW here often read
7.0 to even 10.0 on my PWT. Made very bad CS.

Re: CSquestion for Jason

2015-02-20 Thread sol
Truthfully, I was a bit shocked at the condition of my brew jar. Silver
was even plating out on the sides of the jar.
And don't know why I didn't want to waste silver by cleaning
electrodes. I'm 69 and have several sets on hand, more than enough to
last out my lifetime and then some, LOL.
It is easy to get into a rut when one is disabled, well easy anytime
probably, but more so when disabled and in pain all the time.
I certainly won't go crazy obsessed over my CS. Did that the first 2-3
years, and no longer have the energy for it.

Thanks so much,
sol

back in Nov, 2011. Maybe you can find the original discussion in the
archives.. Lola H.

did my own. Years ago i did the research and took the best of the
research. tried it on myself and then dogs in need. Worked every time.
Start 3or 4 x a day, cut back according to severity of the cataracts. Go
figure---if it doesn't work (and it always does) it cannot hurt you. Buy
gentle eye solution (nonsting) add 15% MS crystals. That would be 1
teaspoon for each ounce of eye solution. Thats not perfect measure but
close enough. Keep everything clean as you can. Each eye, 1or 2 drops
RAW flax oil (not from caps but from the fridge at the health store
---Barleans is good). 5 mins to half hour later drop or 2 of eye solution.
The dogs i treat often have this goober grub in the corner of their eye
after about 3 or 4 days. Cataracts come off in layers. Now this does not
correct the nearsight or farsight like lens implant surgery. Sure does
take that piece of white sheet off of dogs and my eyes. I like to keep it
up for maybe 6 weeks after i have cut back to couple times a week. Even
longer if you want. Save a dogs life. Many people cannot afford surgery
for their dogs. The last dog i did was 16. It made a whole new
tailwagger. i could see it. Dogs with pressure behind eye (glaucoma)
usually have bulging eye. That hurts like the worst of migraine and needs
meds from a vet. Please do not let them suffer. Cataracts and glaucoma
are 2 different things. I am not medically trained. I love the best of
the research i do. Just passing it on if you care to try. It worked for
me and mine.

medications. I do not wear prescription glasses. Today at my annual eye
appointment the doctor said all was good; eyes changed slightly but still
no glasses needed. He then said he could see start of cataracts, but
nothing to worry about for a long time. My question is would a daily eye

I get dirt or a bug in my eye to flush it out or when I wake up and would

manufactured model from Sota Instruments. I have used two sets of devices from
Sota over the years, and they are excellent.

I do not have any direct experience with cataracts, but I have seen the pulser
do many amazing things, and read testimonials about its success against
cataracts. That is what I would use if I had cataracts.

I am also one that sprays my eyes with CS whenever they feel icky.

2014-10-23 Thread Sandra George
Hi There B - I use EIS to wash out my eyes both morning and evening before bed
and when I wake in the morning - I was told some twelve years ago that I had
cataracts and would have to have them removed,
I found an eye drop perfected from Russia for their soldiers to see well at
night, the drops are called Natural Cineraria and you can get them from Natural
Opthalmmics, they are also available on Amazon - I also use
MSM drops which take care of the free floating radicals - cataracts are caused
from an over production of proteins by the body due to lack of exercise and or
not ridding the body of toxins I go to the same eye doctors and they are
totally at sea to understand how my cataracts have either gone or have been
reduced
and have no effect on my vision Happy testing I am now a happy
75 year old enjoying life

The History of Colloidal Silver

Silver has been used throughout history by the aristocracy
for plates and drinking vessels, and its use has been a
source of protection from the ravages that affect the mass of
humanity. Our pioneers would add a silver dollar to the milk
buckets to prolong the useful life. If you so choose you can add
a tablespoon of your silver product to a gallon of milk and it
will not spoil for weeks.

Prior to the discovery of penicillin there were over
ninety US letters patents of silver compounds for medicinal
purposes. It was during 1917 that Dr . Henry Crooke conducted
2,000 tests proving that silver solutions would kill
almost all pathogens. Since ionic silver solutions could not be
patented, the Food and Drug Administration was moved by the
pharmaceutical companies not to approve its use by the American
Medical Association.

For those who want an in-depth look at the history of
the use of silver for human well being I suggest that you visit
the Google.com web site and enter colloidal silver . Another
worthwhile web site is at www.silverinstitute.org in Washington
D. C. You will enjoy the www.silverlon.com web site as
their product has been approved by the FDA and the AMA.

If the web site is selling a product be careful what you
believe about their product, as everyone thinks theirs is the best.

Circa 1953 there was an article in the Reader's Digest
on the role that silver played in the building of the Burma road
during world War II . Shortly after construction began everything
stopped due to dysentery and diarrhea from the water
supply. An English doctor gathe red up a number ofD batteries
and silver coins, which he took to India.

The coins were converted into wires about a meter long
and one was soldered on each end of the D battery. The silver
wires were placed in the Lister bags water supply with the
batteries on the outside. In just a few days the medical problem
disappeared and the road was completed.

At that time I was living in La Ceiba, Honduras, and our
water supply was from unfiltered, unprocessed mountain runoff
water, and I was curious about the silver process. At my request
the director of the research laboratory had his personnel prepare
twelve petri dishes for bacterial culture growth.

A water sample was divided into three parts. One part
was used to make a 1, 10, 100, and 1000 dilution sample for the
untreated water, a second set was made for water that was stirred
with a silver wire for two minutes, and the third set was made
using water that had been stirred with two silver wires that were
soldered to the ends of a D battery.

What follows are my personal experiences while investigating
the making of a silver product to be used for human
consumption.

The twelve samples were incubated for forty-eight
hours so that any bacteria present would grow. At the end of
the incubation period the samples were viewed with results as
listed on the table.

Untreated Water:
1/1 Solid cover of bacterial growth.
2/10 to 3/100 had successfully reduced growth.
4/1000 had five colonies of bacteria.

Stirred Water:
1/1 had a few colonies.
1/10 had less than sample 1.
1/100 and 1/1000 were free of bacterial growth.

Electrolyzed Water:
All four of the culture dishes were bacterially free.

I returned to the United States in 1957, and in 1997
while browsing the Internet I encountered a silver list moderated
by Professor Katherine Stevenson of the Jamestown College in
North Dakota, which I joined.

I soon realized that every list member had their own
special way of making what they called colloidal silver, and
there was little interest to arrive at a standard process. There
upon started my investigation of the electrolytic process for
making a silver product.

Another piece of 1/4 thick steel was put alongside the smart meter between the

PT - When you say a plate was placed behind the meter, do you mean on the
inside of the house? Or between the meter and the house? The electric
monopoly installed the device last year and these freaky body jump kind of
things have increased ever since.

Have no idea how to explain the body jump things. It does not sound like
the OP's vibration thing. Mine are more like quick rumbles that come in
waves that go down my body. I have had them as long as I can remember and
have lived in various regions of the Country, as well as Central America.

Great discussion. I thought it was just me Glad to know I'm not the
only one who feels weird things in their body. ;-)

Hi Joy,

To keep a bit of silver in the conversation. In my experience use of CS or EIS
has lowered
the tinnitus to an acceptable, even enjoyable experience. I think what has
happened in my
case is that congestion, inflammation and some blockage has been reduced. My
hearing has
improved a bit but the tinnitus is still there.

Yes, I have been hearing / sensing this for a few years. Lately, the noise has
been
changeable by the hour; it changes tone, volume and speed. Basically I can
describe it in
terms of the sound made by a washing machine on wash cycle or on spin cycle.
Usually the
sound is fairly monotonous and steady and in the faint background, if at all.
However in the
past few months the noise has at times become louder, more insistent and with
an urgent
feel to it. I don't have a log or diary of this but my thought is that soon
after sensing this sort
of urgent quality 'sound' there is a world disaster somewhere as a result of an
earthquake or
violent weather event. The Indian ocean tsunami, new zealand earthquakes, and
more
recently, heavy weather and floods 5 Dec UK and Europe. Yadda yadda.

I drive an old stick shift van. Fairly recently I drove an automatic. While
stuck in traffic and
dithering I shifted from Neutral to Drive a few times and got just about the
exact tones. A
Whurrr - Whoorrr sound, The noise' has about a count of 7 per whurr or whoor.
and overlaid
on that is an occasional, intermittent, irregular blip or thud. The carrier
wave; the 'rrr' part of
the sound is akin to the putter-putter of a small gasoline engine idling; like
a lawnmower in
the distance and that is about 8Hz, which is very interesting in itself, being
Earth Frequency
as found by Schumann.

OK, I have tinnitus, with which I am very familiar. and which I have had for
many, many years
and basically as a result of happily listening to loud machinery. 'the noise'
is not tinnitus which
is always there and which I can listen to; or try to ignore. 'the noise' is
obliterated by ambient
noise such as wind, rain, vacuum cleaner etc. 'the noise' seems to amplified
by some
wooden structures such as bed base and empty cabinet.

At one time the 'the noise' drove me nuts trying to isolate or analyse it. I
thought it could be
tinnitus or residual sound caused by close proximity to computer or workshop
equipment ( it
is sort of like the pc fan setup but that is very steady ). I did all sorts of
inconclusive
experiments except that I'm fairly sure it is not related to mains or power
frequency. At one
time I was convinced it was coming from the cell phone towers but this is
very difficult to
prove one way or another because the noise comes from everywhere. This is
still the
possiblity if the noise is coming from switched mode power supply equipment
either leaking
physical noise or (more likely) leaking noise back into the powersupply system

There are a few of us in our village that have mentioned this in passing. It is
not a popular
topic because it implies a certain amount of daftness. !!!

I try to meditate and that is exactly the sort of situation that will bring
awareness of this sort of
phenomenon. This past week, on a whim, I found that sometimes I can influence
'the noise'
by sending it thoughts like Peace and Joy , the results of which has been
that 'the noise'
became inaudible for a few minutes to return and be banished again until I lost
concentration.
:-) another occasion the noise just faded and did not return. third attempt
yesterday was not
successful at banishing the noise. I'm either daft as a brush or on
something or maybe I
am onto something very important.

OK,

Tony

Hi Joy,
I've personally experienced this bodily vibrations in the past.
Here are a few of my theories -
1) lack of B complex vitamins - I've researched for people who are severely
lacking B complex vitamin often get this vibrating sensation in their bodies or
feel as if they're about to float.

2) depending on the time of day - if you're in bed when this happens, it could
be an introduction to out of body experience
(OBE) ---
3) Breathwork
I once went to a therapist who was an expert in breath work - he taught me to
breathe a certain way and it was a bewildering experience because I could feel
my entire body vibrating - it freaked me out, actually and I kept
interrupting the process as I was nervous. Even my teeth were vibrating! Very
difficult to explain but that is the best word I can describe.
Finally he coached me to release my defensiveness and next thing I knew I was
out for an hour-- this was part of a healing process for the
emotional/psychic/physical therapy.

Those are the only times I've ever personally experienced the vibration
sensations.

I know this is not CS related, but I thought I'd put in my 2 cents.

those could all bbe called meditation experiencesand yes...the
breathing patterns or breathwork will trigger this.
It does have aphysiological effect and thats where the Bvits come in.
I should have asked if you eat meat at all?
Beef or buffalo (bison) are the best for maintaining the fire energy.
Just a tiny amount or even the bone soup as was talked about on

Another observation...
we are, indeed, an electrical battery and with the complex circuitry
we all have with this terrestrial body it sort of makes sense that
when we start to percieve the finer energys we are immersed in that
one would begin to be aware of and even start to attune to these
energys both within and without.
Wouldn't it?
Some people might even get a bit rattled even feeling or (gasp)
hearing their blood circulate through the body.

flips and goes the other circular way. My feeling is the vibratory rate is
on the low side - but nonetheless - its there and I feel it. It is like a
hum/rumble. And there are no electronics or devices involved. Just plain
physical sensation. Any substantial evidence with this would be
 appreciated.

There are Rife machines (google Rife) that can generate
frequencies that clear 'sticky-blood'.
Many people with Lyme do this routinely because we have so much

How wierd that her insurance won't pay. Usually they are eager to put us
on things that aren't particularly good for us.

Study.. research and come to your own conclusions but nattozyme
(nattozime), serrapeptase and 'earthing' products can help
thick/sludgy/ketchupy blood. Earthing products increase the 'zeta'
potential of red blood cells.. helping them to repel one another which
means the cells have more 'elbow' room. Lola H.

Traditionally, aspirin is used as a blood thinner. Many people take 1
baby aspirin a day for that purpose. One could take more to thin the
blood more.

Natto enzyme, available for a fairly cheap price at places like
Swanson's Vitamins, will clear out fibrin from the blood. One dose
will last about 10-12 hours so one may want to take 2 a day, one in
the am and one in the pm. You could discuss this all with the doctor
who should be willing to advise if one cannot afford the blood
thinners.

There are Rife machines (google Rife) that can generate
frequencies that clear 'sticky-blood'.
Many people with Lyme do this routinely because we have so much
sludge that builds up and reduces good blood-flow. Insurance
won't cover these. At all! Did the insurance at least cover the
stent?

I've been sleeping on an Earthing sheet for maybe a year now. It makes a huge
difference. The downside is that I have found all the fabrics I have tried
(Earthing fitted bottom sheet, Silverelle and several others from lessemf.com)
lose their conductivity with use. If anyone knows of a fabric that lasts,
please respond. The more gently you handle the fabrics, the longer they last.
But they don't retain their conductivity forever. The fabric from Earthing
seems the best and I can't find it elsewhere online. But it must be treated
gently. The Silverelle is comfortable, but after a while it loses conductivity
and even starts to turn black. I think the silver is being oxidized by body
oils. I made a pillowcase out of it. It worked for about 6 months, but now it
is dark where my head goes and very low conductivity.

Another thing I've started doing is not washing the silver-containing fabrics
very often. They are antibiotic, after all.

Also, use a meter and check the connections. I had the grounding wire from
Earthing.com go bad.

An older message from Marshall, “removing silver stains” dated 6 Jan 2013:

I just discovered something that will remove silver stains within a
minute or two. I have a countertop which is rather badly stained with
silver from over the years. Although hydrogen peroxide can be used to
remove new silver stains, my experience is that once it has sat a while,
it tarnishes becoming silver sulfide. Silver is happiest with sulfur,
so I had been unable to find anything to react with it a and produce a
soluble silver compound. Unfortunately silver sulfide is 100%
insoluble, so once you have the stain, it seemed to be there forever. I
have applied hydrogen peroxide to these stains in the past for hours at
a time.

Well, last night I made up a few drops of activated MMS to put on a
wart. A drop of it fell on the stained counter, and I wiped it up after
about a minute. Right where the drop was, the counter was completely
stain free, a nice yellow circle in a sea of brown/grey stain (counter
is yellow).

So I did some experimenting. Even if applied immediately after mixing
the acid and sodium chlorite, it works very well. To check my theory
that it was actually reacting with tarnish, I put a drop on a badly
tarnished spoon, and the tarnish was immediately removed. However it
also reacted with the silver making the surface look more like pearl
than silver (might have formed a layer of silver chloride or simply
roughened it up), but the black of the silver sulfide was removed almost
immediately.

This is what seems to be happening.

The activated mms produces chlorine dioxide. ClO2 splits up producing
both chlorine as well as oxygen. Although silver much rather unite with
sulfur than with chlorine, sulfur likes the oxygen better, leaving the
silver to make sulfur dioxide (which with water produces sulfuric acid),
and the silver then reacts with the free chlorine:

Ag + ClO2 - AgCl + O2
AgS + ClO2 + H20 - AgCl + H2SO4

The silver chloride, being slightly soluble, can then be removed with water.

Now, I was working with MMS (28% sodium chlorite), and 50% citric acid
solution, equal amounts of each. This likely will work with lemon or
lime activated as well, but concentration will be much lower, so I
expect it to take longer. The addition of vitamin C, and antioxidant
might interfere as well, but I have not tried it and can't say for sure.

Let us know how it goes?

violet ray. You can find these new or used. I have used it
successfully. If you zap it too long, it can result in a necrosis that
stays black for some time, so dont over do it.

RE: CSQuestion ??

2012-02-08 Thread Nenah Sylver
Judy,

Warts are caused by a virus. (In the genital area, the virus is the HPV, or
Human Papilloma Virus.) If you were able to look far enough down into the
foot, you'd see a stem. Those miserable little things grow deep, unless
checked.

If you have a rife machine or other similar frequency device, you could use
the frequencies. A podiatrist (foot doctor) typically freezes the warts with
liquid nitrogen. But you can eliminate the wart yourself with various
commercial preparations. Most contain salicylic acid, which dissolves the
protein or keratin of which the wart is made. You could also use CS, but I
think CS would be more effective AFTER the tough outer covering of the wart
were removed with a caustic substance.

Another caustic substance is food grade hydrogen peroxide. Any strength over
3% would abrade or burn the skin, which in the case of a wart is exactly
what you'd want to do. Family Health News in Florida sells 9% hydrogen
peroxide, which undiluted would probably be caustic enough to do the job.

Other preparations use, besides salicylic acid, various essential oils.
Essential oils such as eucalyptus and oregano are quite caustic in their own
right if they're not diluted, so I think they'd be quite effective, though I
haven't tried them myself. Here's one:

If you've got reasonably high short term pain tolerance, here's how I got rid
of mine. I had mine on my accelerator food, and I drive trucks, so was very
painful for several weeks.
I purchased a packet of sticky caustic pads from chemist, there are various
sizes in the packet.
I placed a pad on the wart, starting with appropriate size pad and working up
to larger sizes over some days {can't remember how long this took now, it may
have been weeks?}. As the pads burnt away the skin over time, and increasing
the size of pads proportionately until the hole got big enough to enable me to
get a pair of *GOOD* tweezers in there and I pulled the root out.
There were three roots in total, the first two were very pointy {like a dart}
and bled considerably for short time, the third and final root was totally
different in appearance, it was rounded on the end and not pointy. I figured
this was the main one, and the other two were 'saplings' shooting off from this
one.
After removing the rounded one, with nil bleeding to speak of, the whole thing
cleared up.
Be warned though, pulling these things out can be *extremely* painful, but only
instant short term pain {shove a pencil between your teeth g}, so make sure
you grab hold of a good length of the root before yanking it out, and ensure
the hole is big enough to expose enough of the root.
Took me several goes yanking at mine cos I had a crappy pair of tweezers, can't
seem to buy tweezers with GRIP.

Re: CSQuestion ??

2012-02-08 Thread Steve G

Warts can be very troublesome and what works for one wart may not work for
another.

Here is a link to the wart question on the earthclinic.com site that I am fond
of.  Read through it and see if any of them appeal to you.

http://www.earthclinic.com/CURES/warts.html

One I didn't read about at the site, but which has been helpful when
consistently followed, is to get ahold of some living milkweed plants.  Tear
off a bit of a leaf until the milky sap flows and cover the warts with the
sap.  This has never failed to reduce warts for my wife, but then when they get
small, she neglects to continue the treatment, so they've never gone away
completely.   I suspect that this treatment and several other popular
treatments have success for the same reason, which is that they all likely
block air from reaching the wart.  My theory is the wart needs oxygen to
survive.

If that is the case, it seems to me that the perfect treatment would be to
paint the warts with superglue as that is long-lasting and would be the least
trouble.  Re-paint every couple days and see what happens.

Years ago, my son had a plantar's wart.  I think we shaved off the top layer of
skin and found a black nucleus that look like a tiny root shaped somewhat like
a carrot.  We pulled it out with a tweezers and it healed and disappeared
completely.

Best of luck,

Steve

Ionic forms of silver which these are, are not catalytic. They do kill

I'm speaking not of silver ions that are ultimately liberated from these

really think silver can kill germs in this form?

Hi Asif,

Welcome.

The anode current should be limited to less than 1 mA per square inch (1 mA per
645 mm^2
). For fine results you could go much less than that, but going higher is bound
to be rough on
the electrode and to produce 'thingies' in the water.

Contaminaton of the cell is most likely causing the particles, traces of
detergent is the usual
culprit there , as is wiping the electrodes with paper or cloth but anything
that could float or
fall in could be the problem.

There are many variables : temperature, conductivity of the starting water,
voltage across the
cell, electrode distance apart, electrode aspect to each other. Nailing down as
many as
possible while varying just one will be very helpful while you are learning.

Increasing temperature speeds up the reaction. Voltage vs Distance apart are
sort of inverse
proportion. current is proportional to particle size, sort of.

Have fun,
OK,
Tony

2011-06-07 Thread Asif Nathekar

Hi Tony,

I have calculated that I have around 750mm squared area per electrode.. or
just over 1 square inch per electrode... with 3 anodes... I would say that I
would split that over 3 would be around 0.5 ma per electrode approx and that
should be ok in terms of maintaining less than 1ma per inch squared so
that one goes down the suspect list.

I have been cleaning the electrodes with paper kitchen towels I think
that there may be bits of fluff leftover possibly

I terms of silver purity... I have very little to check the precise voracity
of the Silver, however when I purchased the coin.. I did have it checked by
an XRF machine which confirmed that the surface at least was 99.99. I also
did some tests of 99.99% vs 92.5% with a silver testing kit.. bought for
this purpose... and it also collaborated that the wire was ok...

I am heading towards an assumption that the carrying vessel used to
transport the distilled water to my may have been contaminated possibly (2L
fizzy drink bottle), paper towel fluff.. and too much current which seems to
be improved by creating more distance between and electrodes and tripling
the electrodes due to the thin wire.

I think its time to go on a famous auction site and hunt for a distiller to
call my own!..

I will report back once I get brewing again...

Thank you for you help Tony including Steve and Neville

Hello Asif,

While the electrode terminals on the SG6 are on 2 cm centers, the electrodes
are bent at the top at 90 degrees to make the connection. This brings the
electrodes out to the outside edge of the terminals. You end up with
electrodes that are spaced 4 cm in the water.

It takes about 2-3 hours to go to from 28 to 6v after which it starts
making sludge
I am thinking of buying my own distiller so that I can control the process
better.

I have been brewing only 1 liter batches. I found a 300g coffee jar ideal.
Plus it was a glass jar.
I cannot increase the width of the electrodes any further than 3.5cm as I
have mounted them on the coffee jar lid. Which doesn't give me much real
estate after the motor on top.

I understand that the silvergen SG6 has it's electrodes 2cm apart and uses 1
ma. ( I remember from a trem's post)

I have been wiping the electrodes every 20 mins. The cathodes get black
fairly quickly.

Although things have improved by using 3 anodes. And distancing the
electrodes further to 3.5cm. They seem to make the brew more cleanly.

I have run out distilled water. So I will not be able to tweak the setup
until then.
Also may I ask what voltage and current are you using for your setup?

Re: CSquestion regarding CS production

From your description it sounds like your current was 1.5 mA initially.
Since your maximum voltage is 30 volts, I would expect the current to be
no more than a few microamps at the start, and approach or hit the 1.5
mA near the end of brewing. If it is running 1.5 mA initially, then the
water is not pure, regardless of what the meter says. What did you wash
the bottle out with? Any soap remaining at all can ruin the whole process.

Hi Guys,
I am very new to the list and I am sorry if am asking something that
may have been answered many times before (I couldn't find a FAQ .. or

It was from reading the excellent posts from this silver-list that I
have decided to make my own CS..
I used to buy my CS, however I decided to make my own CS primarily due
to the fact that the amount being used warranted that I make my own.
I got my friendly jeweler to rollout a Canadian maple leaf coin 99.99%
purity into a wire (bought from a respected coin dealer and also
tested with a silver testing kit, which gave me a rough idea that it
wasn't a fake coin)
Then made a very simple circuit arrangement using a 30V dc power
supply, into an lm338 and also tried with a lm317 regulator used in a
current controlling mode, set to 1.5ma (since i couldn't get it to go
any lower).
I am stirring the water with a motor which is spinning a plastic knife
around, in a 300g glass coffee jar, to delay agglomeration.
When used with distilled water (steam distilled by my friend with his
own distiller - he needs it for his silvergen sg6) - I have a water
meter that which measured 0 micro siemens for the water), I created
bits of silver that I could see visually... like very microscopic
glitter, which I know is incorrect and there were sparklies on top and
sludge gathering at the bottom...
I had an initial arrangement of 1 anode and 1 cathodes 15cm each
1.25mm wide exactly, and then placed them 2cm electrode to electrode,
which was really bad!...
I then made an array of 3 anodes and 3 cathodes 15cm each 1.25mm wide
exactly, perfectly parallel to each other, and then placed them 3.5cm
electrode to electrode...which helped significantly... but still not
perfect..
water is room temperature and definitely no additives like salt,
Bicarb or even CS!...
Voltage does indeed drop slowly over two hours, and current maintained
at 1.5ma and then hovers at around 5-6 volts which seems to be the
saturation point, when it first gets to around 6 volts i found its
around 9 micro seimens. but visible particles of silver.
I thought at 1.5ma for even 1 anode setup that I would be ok, and not
overdrive it... but clearly something isn't right
So I may have not done something right, or not understood the process,
or something could be faulty .. or a combination therein

Would you kind people help shed some light on what's going on here.
Many Thanks,
Asif.

than a few microamps at the start, and approach or hit the 1.5 mA near the
end of brewing. If it is running 1.5 mA initially, then the water is not
pure, regardless of what the meter says. What did you wash the bottle out
with? Any soap remaining at all can ruin the whole process.

Use a LM334 current regulator. You can set the current much lower. I have
good results with 0.2 mA in a quart of H2O for 24 hours, no stirring needed.

2011-06-06 Thread Neville Munn

Hi Asif,

I don't believe you mentioned how long your brew process goes, but here's a
couple of things I'd be looking into:

a) Taking the electrodes out to 4cm apart.
b) Using a larger volume brew vessel for that dimension electrodes. I brew a
litre or more at a time using electrodes shorter than yours {between 8cm and
10cm depending on which of my units I use on the day}. My electrodes are 3mm
dia tho.
c) Remove the electrodes at regular timed intervals to wipe them clean {if you
think they need it or not} before resubmerging them.

Sparklies in the water?...I've noticed that some DW I purchase {only an El
Cheapo brand} shows some sparklies upon using laser pointer straight from the
bottle. I have also seen microscopic bits of 'fluff?' or fibre, or whatever
may be in the air on the day I brew become evident in the water after a couple
days in storage {I store in sealed containers}. I believe these give the
illusion of settlement due to some silver 'attaching?' to these microscopic
bits of 'stuff?' present in the DW, or which has entered the water from the air
during my brew process {I brew in an open top vessel}.

Just a few things I'd be looking at if it were me.

RE: CSquestion regarding CS production

2011-06-06 Thread Neville Munn

Sorry, I didn't read your 300g vessel properly.

To be perfectly honest, I haven't actually checked the unit I currently use so
I can't tell you the current. One I made several years ago when first getting
involved with this stuff, using 80-85mm length electrodes, ran at 66mA {if I
read the multimeter correctly back then} and the voltage was 25.5v using a
mains power converter to bring voltage down to 24vDC, but it actually ran at
25.5v when electrodes were initially submerged.

I've changed my configuration a little over the years in later units I've made
and have never checked the mA or voltage {unscientific I know, but that's me},
I still use the same electronic internals though, which is a 38ohm resistor
running with an LED and the same mains power converter bringing voltage down to
24vDC.

I did make a unit with electrode spacing of around an inch, or around 25mm,
many moons ago but the end product always seemed to show colour over time in
storage so I shelved that unit.

I also made a magnetic stirrer.

  Thank you Jane,

  I am still unsure.

  1. What size capsule?
  2. What brand (formulation) of CM; in other words, in the Diehl writing what
percentage of the material is CM?

Thank you for the useful post/question.

It appears to me at present that Brooks recommended 2 #2 caps three times
per day. Since he was referring to the BAC CM, that is only 20 % CM, the
actual dose of CM will be 0.2 x 600 or, 120 mg 3x day.

I will appreciate clarification about this issue. One solution is to
take the larger dose, as Alan suggests. But BAC recommends 1/2 teaspoon. Is
overdosing only an economic issue, or is there a potential toxicity?

Brooks, thanks for your information about CMO and arthritis.

I would like to be perfectly clear about this. Your suggested protocol
is 3x per day of two #2 caps. That's 560mg per dose of CMO.

I bought the Beyond a Century CMO powder. Half a teaspoon is 600mg,
but it's only 20% CMO, so half a teaspoon is 120mg CMO.

So to get a 560mg dose of CMO I need about 2.333 teaspoons of the
powder, correct?
