I did my own. Years ago I did the research and took the best of the
research. tried it on myself and then dogs in need. Worked every time.
Start 3 or 4 times a day, cut back according to severity of the
cataracts. Go figure -- if it doesn't work (and it always does) it
cannot hurt you. Buy gentle eye solution (non-sting) add 15% MS
crystals. That would be 1 teaspoon for each ounce of eye solution.
Thats not perfect measure but close enough. Keep everything clean as
you can.

Each eye, 1 or 2 drops RAW flax oil (not from caps but from the fridge
at the health store --- Barleans is good). 5 mins to half hour later
drop or 2 of eye solution. The dogs I treat often have this goober grub
in the corner of their eye after about 3 or 4 days. Cataracts come off
in layers. Now this does not correct the nearsight or farsight like
lens implant surgery. Sure does take that piece of white sheet off of
dogs and my eyes.

I like to keep it up for maybe 6 weeks after i have cut back to couple
times a week. Even longer if you want. Save a dogs life. Many people
cannot afford surgery for their dogs. The last dog I did was 16. It
made a whole new tailwagger. I could see it. Dogs with pressure behind
eye (glaucoma) usually have bulging eye. That hurts like the worst of
migraine and needs meds from a vet. Please do not let them suffer.
Cataracts and glaucoma are 2 different things. I am not medically
trained. I love the best of the research I do. Just passing it on if
you care to try. It worked for me and mine.

Hi Brickey,

What did you do with the flaxseed oil? Did you put it in your eye? Do
you have any literature? How did you come upon this?

Thanks.

I controlled my cataracts for several years using flaxseed oil. Actually
I used linseed oil bought from the local hardware paint department,
linseed oil is another name for flaxseed oil but it was not food grade.
It delayed surgery for 5 or 6 years. Since I receive Medicare and
cataract surgery is covered I had the surgery.

Has anyone tried mixing aloe vera and CS to get the CS past the stomach
acids? Nutritional Living said that was a way to control Candida yeasts
in your intestines.

What are MS crystals? Also, if you don't mind, what did you use as an eye

have used it before and there are a variety of mixtures.

Thanks for your help.

1.  MSM drops which I make myself from the MSM crystals dissolved in distilled

2.  EIS drops made by me
3.  Natural Cineraria eye drops - which you can purchase from Amazon.

In the US you might want to look at Biotics Research as they have a product
called Bio-D-Mulsion Forte.

RaVen... Try/research Cataplex B by Standard Process.  You take 4 - 6 per day.
It is all natural and contains the full spectrum of B vitamins as well as the
naturally associated factors.  Buy the small bottle (#90) first and start off
with 2 x day  working up over a few weeks to the full dosage.  This, just in
case it causes the same problems as brewers yeast.  It is pricey compared to
vitamins that come out of 50 gallon drums (lol) but you know you are getting
real nutrient vitamins.  I think you will find some reviews on Amazon.

Another good B vitamin is from MegaFood.
http://www.megafood.com/multi-vitamins/balanced-b-complex
I don't know how many you are supposed to take but I would follow the same
routine.. buy small, start small and work up to full dosage.  Again, you can
probably find reviews on VitaCost, Vitamin Shoppe, Amazon.

RE: CS>MS to Gary Hilt

2014-01-02 Thread Vicky
That's not entirely true, the rate of absorption is low because of the angle
of the sun, especially in winter. You are much more likely to get a severe
burn in 2hrs in Arizona than you are in 2hrs in Washington. Besides, most of
the time we're under cloud cover. E Washington might be a bit different but
you still have the angle of the sun to deal with. University of Washington
studies have recently, like the last year or two, shown that most residents
of Washington are low to severely low in Vitamin D. I'm a farmer and spend
most of my time outside with the animals and crops all summer long yet my
level of Vitamin D was down at 19 last fall. They like it about 50<. Vit D
is important in many things including, but not limited to controlling
cholesterol, fending off cancer, and high blood pressure.

Re: CS>MS to Gary Hilt

2014-01-02 Thread RaVen
Hi All,
Does anyone know of an alternative to brewer's yeast for natural B complex
vitamins? I'm allergic to brewer's yeast - it makes me edemic (swollen). It
seems not enough food I eat that is high in B complex works.
Suggestions?

Not too likely to be low vitamin D in Australia, but if you never go out side
without covering up and your diet is not good, especially if you have dark
skin, maybe. However, in Minnesota in the winter you are living off the fat of
your land so to speak. You will not make any vitamin D from sun. Consider all

They are going to be vitamin D deficient if they don't eat food that provides a

RE: CS>MS to Gary Hilt

2013-12-31 Thread Neville
This is not a reply to anyone, I'm just making a statement using a modicum of
common sense.
I have never in my entire life heard of anything so ridiculous as low vitamin
D. If this were to be the case then we as a species are slowly dieing out and
there is no hope for the continuance of civilisation. It is only in recent
times this low vitamin D thing has been bounced around the media, so my
question would be *why* is there a prevalence to low vitamin D, it certainly
ain't from lack of sunshine, again, if that were the case we would have been
extinct years ago.
They even diagnose low D here in Australia...??? Have you ever heard of
anything more ridiculous than that...??? We get around 364 days of sunshine a
year here and some idiot suggests we a lacking in vitamin D…WHAT THE...???
That's if folks, it's all over Rover, we as a species are soon to become
extinct from lack of vitamin D
Gary has come closest to the reason for lack of *any* vitamins, capitalism and
the corporation are killing us slowly with poor quality food and drink in every
supermarket and junk food joints, even our water supply is loaded with poison.
Those who suggest poor ol' sun is to blame are barking up the wrong tree, the
common man/woman should be looking at the food and produce which are being
passed on to us for the answer to any vitamin deficiency.
I find it rather strange that those of a faith denounce abortion and stem cell
research due interference with some 'God' plan, and yet they remain silent when
foods are being tampered with and modified every day of the week, meet is being
engineered in test tubes, soils are being depleted of natural minerals etc etc,
and we consume such foodstuffs?
For those of a faith, may your God help you all because your fellow man
certainly isn't.
No reply necessary.

Antibacterial efficacy of colloidal silver alone and in combination

"A total of ten clinical bacterial isolates comprising five isolates of
Escherichia coli isolated from surgical wound patients at the Federal
Medical Centre, Abakaliki and five isolates of Staphylococcus aureus
isolated from the wound sites of burnt patients at the University of
Nigeria Teaching Hospital, Enugu were evaluated for their
susceptibility

to colloidal silver at 5 and 20 ppm using agar dilution method and the
killing rate technique. Also, interaction studies between colloidal
silver and some conventional antibiotics were carried out against the
clinical isolates of Escherichia coli and S. aureus using disc
diffusion

technique. The result of the study shows that the test organisms were
sensitive to the colloidal silver at both concentrations and also to
some of the antibiotics in the paper disc. The killing rate studies
revealed that the colloidal silver is highly bactericidal against the
test isolates at both concentrations. The drug interaction study showed
no antagonism, indicating that concomitant use of colloidal silver with
these antibiotics may not affect the therapeutic efficacy of either of
these agents."

to this question. The uptake of radiolabeled
substrates by both ATP hydrolysis and proton
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Co-transport>co-transport may be blocked by
exposure to HOCl preceding loss of
viability.<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypochlorous_acid#cite_note-ref1-0>[1]
From this observation, it proposed that HOCl blocks uptake of nutrients by
inactivating transport
proteins.<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypochlorous_acid#cite_note-ref1-0>[1]<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypochlorous_acid#cite_note-ref9-20>[21]<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypochlorous_acid#cite_note-ref59-35>[36]<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypochlorous_acid#cite_note-ref13-37>[38]
The question of loss of glucose oxidation has been further explored in
terms of loss of respiration. Venkobachar et
al.<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypochlorous_acid#cite_note-ref96-38>[39]
found that succinic dehydrogenase was inhibited in vitro by HOCl, which led
to the investigation of the possibility that disruption of
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electron_transport>electron transport could
be the cause of bacterial inactivation. Albrich et
al.<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypochlorous_acid#cite_note-ref3-4>[5]
subsequently found that HOCl destroys
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cytochrome>cytochromes and
**<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iron-sulfur_cluster>iron-sulfur
clusters** and observed that oxygen uptake is abolished by HOCl and
adenine nucleotides are lost. Also observed was, that irreversible
oxidation of <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cytochrome>cytochromes
paralleled the loss of respiratory activity. One way of addressing the loss
of oxygen uptake was by studying the effects of HOCl on succinate dependent
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electron_transport>electron
transport.<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypochlorous_acid#cite_note-ref43-39>[40]
Rosen et
al.<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypochlorous_acid#cite_note-ref79-33>[34]
found that levels of reductable
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cytochrome>cytochromes in HOCl-treated cells
were normal, and these cells were unable to reduce them. Succinate
dehydrogenase was also inhibited by HOCl, stopping the flow of electrons to
oxygen. Later
studies<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypochlorous_acid#cite_note-ref71-31>[32]
revealed that Ubiquinol oxidase activity ceases first, and the still-active
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cytochrome>cytochromes reduce the remaining
quinone. The <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cytochrome>cytochromes then pass
the <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electron>electrons to
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oxygen>oxygen, which explains why the
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cytochrome>cytochromes cannot be reoxidized,
as observed by Rosen et
al.<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypochlorous_acid#cite_note-ref79-33>[34]
However, this line of inquiry was ended when Albrich et
al.<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypochlorous_acid#cite_note-ref2-7>[8]
found that cellular inactivation precedes loss of respiration by using a
flow mixing system that allowed evaluation of viability on much smaller
time scales. This group found that cells capable of respiring could not
divide after exposure to HOCl.

Nigeria Teaching Hospital, Enugu were evaluated for their susceptibility
to colloidal silver at 5 and 20 ppm using agar dilution method and the
killing rate technique. Also, interaction studies between colloidal
silver and some conventional antibiotics were carried out against the
clinical isolates of Escherichia coli and S. aureus using disc diffusion

CS>MS and anecdotal evidence

2009-12-31 Thread Steve G
Hannek,

I pretty much agree with you.   I'm always skeptical of anecdotal evidence
because it is so easy to have it lead down the wrong path.   The thing is, when
you are trying to find out what is making your body go crazy, it becomes
extremely personal, and you don't have the luxury of pursuing strictly
scientific research. You have to figure out what you can with the best
information you can get and make the best decisions you can.

Just because your suspicions can't be proven through the standard , doesn't
mean they aren't true.  Best of luck with your efforts.

Re: CS>MS cure - Comment

2009-11-30 Thread Jonathan B. Britten
Arterial plaque, I have read, may form in response to inflammation
resulting from pathogens.

If so, EIS could have an effect by killing the pathogens that cause
the buildup.

Eventually, the body might clear out the plaque.

It may be that something similar occurs in the brain, which might be
the reason EIS was reported useful by one former member of this list,
now deceased.

This is speculation but might be useful to anyone doing research on the
topic.

I have inhaled 3% H2O2 and 3% H2O2 mixed 50/50 with EIS using a nebulizer. The
straight 3% H2O2 is a little harsh so I would go no stronger than that. I think
it is a good way to oxygenate the blood but you should start cautiously. One
smoker had to be rushed to the ER because the H2O2 caused large amount of
nicotine from lung deposits to be released into the blood stream causing an
overdose.

2009-11-29 Thread Steve
Well, I didn't comment on the MS cure article, but I did get pretty excited.
Read the article out loud to my wife and emailed it to a few folks.    I think
this is great when something like this comes around and turns the
traditional-thinking medical world on its ear.

The groups that exist to find a cure for MS or other 'uncurable' diseases know
full well that a true cure or corrective procedure would put them out of
business.  This is when we find out whether the various research groups are
really trying to cure this thing, or just making an appearance and trashing any
real breakthroughs so that they will always be needed.

Same comment could be made for various civil rights groups.. nobody wants
to put an end to the gravy train, so nobody will ever admit that the compelling
reasons for their existence are no longer quite so compelling and will have to
constantly do what they can to exaggerate things in order to justify their
continued existence.   But this is another topic.

Thank you connie for your post. I was mildly surprised at the lack of interest
in this breakthrough. I know many people were elated at the possibility of
FIXing this terrible problem. Only Ode seemed to get it.

The MS societies are not enthusiastic about it either. I guess the reason for
that is they would be totally redundant if this procedure becomes widly known
and practiced.

Oh, of course the big pharmas too, as all their autoimmune drugs used to treat
it would drop off their profit lists.

Also of interest, is the method of treatment. It may be applicable to other
ailments too, not just MS. What other symptoms are a result of blocked veins,
and given symtomatic names that the pharmas could make a ton of dough on. Just
wondering.

My sister, who thought she had a cataract problem, recently found out it was
due to a Branch Vein Occlusion, not a cataract at all.

As I recall, Nancy was posting here and on other lists until not long

hence the hot tub therapy. I'm sure she would have been aware of the
danger but underestimated it nevertheless. Overconfidence I guess.

The circumstances were so odd that the police assumed it was a

insisted on a closer examination. Police later concluded it was just
a tragic accident. Apparently heat can incapacitate MS sufferers.

and had returned after her post in 2002? In her post she seemed intelligent,
determined and capable. Very sad.

Nancy Delise and a female friend (also with MS) drowned in a motel
hot tub (next to the swimming pool) while trying hot water therapy.
The circumstances were so odd that the police assumed it was a
bizarre suicide pact. The families stated that was ridiculous and
insisted on a closer examination. Police later concluded it was just
a tragic accident. Apparently heat can incapacitate MS sufferers.
(MS sufferes have confirmed this to me). By the time the two ladies
realised they could not move their muscles it was too late. So they
simply slipped to the bottom of the tub and drowned. Very sad. Nancy
was a contributor to this and other silver groups.

So .MS is *tin man in the rain with a funnel for a hat* disease.
  Drink lots of Coca Cola.
It has the active ingredient of navel jelly in it...removes rust.

Oh...and stop biting your nails. [too much irony, ya know]

BTW Draino dissolves Aluminum, which [for whatever reason] builds up in
the brains of Altzeimers folx.
A "Zapper" creates Sodium Hydroxide [Draino] in the blood stream out of

As part of the research project, Mr. Lipp's siblings have also been tested.
His two sisters, both of whom have MS, have significant blockages and iron

Interesting, as I had just heard from a friend "with MS" who says "I had
a few anxious moments with chest pain and the heart almost coming to a
stop!! they argued that it was MS, and then it was heart disease. well
it turns out that i have a naturally slow heart rate, approx. 40bpm
going down to 30bpm."

I will forward to her for her information.

Hallo Dee,
Here are some fairly local to UK suppliers.

Dimethyl Sulfoxide
www.arkema.com Arkema Inc: an industrial producer of Dimethyl
Sulfoxide (DMSO)

Europe
Arkema
420, rue d'Estienne d'Orves
92700 Colombes
France
Tel.: +33 (0)1 49 00 80 80
Fax: +33 (0)1 49 00 72 53

Also try DMSO.co.uk and ask them for suppliers

and

http://www.merck-chemicals.co.uk/life-science-research/dimethyl-
sulfoxide/EMD_BIO-
317275/p_xmOb.s1LIKcAAAEWlWEfVhTm?WFSimpleSearch_NameOrID=dmso&BackButtonT
ext=search+results

If that doesn't work then go :
http://www.merck-chemicals.co.uk
and search for DMSO

Yikes 32BP per 500ml It seems to be over-the-top quality. Maybe they have
a lower grade.

OK,

[many years after the strokes] by applying a [pieso] barbecue
igniter [aka electric 'stick pins in the skin'
treatment?..uh..oh yea, Acupuncture ] to the numb parts.
The very brief high voltage electrical shocks seemed to be
playing a game of "Marco Polo" with the brain to find or form
another routing pattern.
..like sending up a flare to attract contact after the phones go
out.

It seemed to also work on an old guy in Chapel Hill who had
stroke that paralyzed his right arm.
He was back to playing his weird Turkish stringed instrument
thingie in a couple of weeks.

I have taped above my computer screen this protocol for a stroke--
-1 tsp DMSO in 3 oz orange juice every 15 minutes for 2 hours.
- then every 30 min for a further 2 hours

I hope if I ever have a stroke I will recognize it and begin the above
right away.
Not sure where I got that info, so I don't have a reference. Maybe it
came from someone on this list.

(according to the book) Months and even years later it will also work. It
has to be injected, so many cc's per kilo of body weight. This is worth
finding a copy of this book...

Re: CS>Help needed for lady with MS who suffered a stroke 5 months ago ENAR

2009-09-13 Thread Rowena
This is not from personal experience, but I recall that one use of a
gadget I bought is for people who have had a stroke.

This is the Enar device.

This is where I bought it. http://www.enlightenedtherapies.com/
http://www.enlightenedtherapies.com/products.html

This page has downloads:

http://www.enar.com.au/downloads.html

Probably a professional with the Scenar would be a good option to start
with. I would imagine they would be willing to make a "house" call?
There is a link to therapists on the site somewhere, too.

One thing that is also possible is to rent a unit.
http://www.enar.com.au/rentbuy.html Of course, they hope you will buy
one once you have tried it - but at least you CAN try it.
Before buying an ENAR outright for themselves some people like to try
out a device for a time. You may rent a brand new device for one month.
Should you wish to then buy it, your first month’s rental can become a
deposit against the purchase price.

I went to a workshop once in Fremantle after I had bought it. There was
one bloke there who used to be a patient and was now a therapist. He'd
had a motor bike accident and was a mess, and was having pain relief
treatment from a Fremantle therapist. This therapist had been to a
workshop in Sydney, and had come home with an Enar. From the airport, he
rang the patient, who came around straight away, and from then on made
fantastic progress.

All the best to your friend.

Hanneke,
I have not had a stroke but a severe brain injury where the left side of my
scalp came off.  What followed, I was told, is what happens when one has a
stroke.
PLEASE, If i do not have my sentence structure right or the words are wrong
PLEASE do not call me iodiotic, stupid, dumb, ignorant, as dave nave  emailed this
week.  I do not understand how people get away with calling people names.  But
I must rise about him.

Accident 94, I could not read, write, talk walk, without falling, use my
hands, watch tv or listen to radio or be under flour lites, no noise of anykind
etc.  I actually lived in my closet.
I had 100 docs they all wanted to put me where your friend is or a mental
institution for I would not take any drugs.
You are right FRUSTRATION is major but docs have no box for that word so they
labeled you clinical depression.
First what helped me walk was crawling.. and crawling, to the point of crying,
Second.. doing childrens puzzles. point is using  left and right hand brain,
putting square peg in square hole,, not easy to do.
third  tying anything left and right hand.
fourth being in the sun without sunglasses or any glasses. because the sun
needs to get into the brain to heal..only way.. eyes open no glasses early in
the morning or late at nite.  about 20 min a day.  No sun.. don't worry the uv
rays penatrate you anyway.
Fifth, this is big  No flour lites at any time, no color anywhere, no clutter
anywhere, no noise.  the brain cannot filter any of these items.
Anyway this is all I can email for now, my brain to shutting down.
I began to read books, this year, computer could only use 15 min a day because
I saw quadruple of everything and the computer needs a filter my color was blue
in front of computer.
If she could get on a computer.. this would be a life saver but she cannot look
at the screen because of the thousands of lites??? the brain cannot filter
these so use a gel filter, have to keep trying which one is ok for her
If you need more information let me know and I will give it to you.
Tell her when she cries, she is crying for the person who died her.  When I
found this out it made sense why I cried.  I did die that day..twice, but my ME
died also but I am slowly making my way back..
I am 66 yrs old.
Mary

Earlier this week, I caught up with some friends and one of them is
desperate to get all and any information to help his partner towards

The lady in question is 58 years of age, has been suffering with MS
for a number of years and was using a Goopher/scooter for transport
since last October.
In April of this year, she suffered a stroke and has been stuck in a
nursing home ever since with the prognosis being: she will never come
out of the nursing home, is bedridden and in another 12 months when
the effects of the stroke have mellowed out one will have a clearer
picture of what she will be like for the rest of her life (this is
the message he was given by the medical and nursing staff of the nursing home).

She receives physio therapy and some meds but I didn't ask what
medications, nor whether the meds were for stroke related or MS
related problems. The lady has the use of only one arm/hand, unable to walk,
cannot speak other than grunt. From what I understood, apart from
some memory loss, her mental abilities are in tact and the
frustration and anger she feels about not being
able to communicate as she used to gets the better of her at times.
With the help of pictures she is able to let them know if she wants a
glass of water, a coffee, or ovaltine..whether she wants her hair
dryer, a comb... etc etc. This just to give an idea of how they are
communicating.

She recognises the alphabet and she has been given a children's
keyboard which has large coloured letters which she manages to press
when taking her time to hit them properly. This is connected up with
a computer and shows up on computer screen.
Yesterday, my daughter printed off a sheet with sign language for
one hand which may help
as well since she has the use of the one hand.

My question is: would there be a list of supplements, diet
ideas, exercise ideas which one wouldn't hear about in a nursing
home but will help towards a recovery?

Looking forward to your responses.

Hanneke
