Hello Thomas, THIS account (tb...@mudshark.com) is working properly but in this account my reply template is NOT set to adopt the TO address of the message being replied to. My main account however is templated to do so, like such: Here is my main account REPLY template: %MODIFYONCE(From)%- %From=%Clear %From=%OTo Hello %OFromFName, %Cursor %QuoteEmptyLines My main account is an IMAP mirror of my gmail account. Updating from 2.12 templates
Hello TBUDL, Moving to this new TB! from v 2.12. I'll need help tweaking templates as my old install had some QTs that I cannot find a way to move over as well, so recreating some of that functionality will most likely have to be moved to regular templates I assume. New mail virtual folder in v 2.12
Hello Bat-Folk! Odd behavior I'm just noticing... The VF "All New Mail" drops messages that are moved from the top level Inbox folder to newly created sub-folders. The VF does not stop displaying any message if moved into an already existing folder but if I create a new folder in the act of CTRL-M moving such a new mssg it is lost from the list of ALL new mssgs. The problem is that the VF properties "Select Folders" dialog does not have new folders checked. Is there a way to tell my New Mail VF to keep up with newly created folders? Hello Bat-Folk! Using TB! v2.12 I have SENDing thru GMAIL's POP working (TLS + port 465). I can also RECV from GMAIL's POP. (TLS + port 995, regular auth). The login userID for GMail is [EMAIL PROTECTED] As instructed, I have altered the POP server to 127.0.0.1 and alter my userID = [EMAIL PROTECTED]@pop.gmail.com but that does not work. I'll simply say that I think email SHOULD be fully alterable if you want to for any reason whatsoever. It is after all YOUR email in YOUR database. I often "fix" emails that I've received to ensure better data in my message database. Mostly it is a subject line edit, sometimes it is to correct the message contents. For example, I'll correct an email when someone might send me their contact info but omit or typo something. I also edit EVERY message from PayPal to remove the footer and to clean up the message so that it prints one order to (only) one page. Virtual folder strangeness
Hello Bat-Folk! I successfully set up a new VF that only displays NEW mssgs. As with all my folders, it is sorted by date recv'd with newer mssgs at the bottom. Strangely, sometimes when I delete a mssg from this folder the selection highlight jumps up, selecting some other place much higher (older) in the list. A known bug? A setting? Hummm. Conditional 2.12 filter
Hello Bat-Folk! Thanks for all the help again in this latest wave of filter tuning! I have another request for assistance: I'd like a selective download filter that will only delete an email if 1) [EMAIL PROTECTED] is in the TO: or CC: fields AND 2) [EMAIL PROTECTED] in NOT the sender I have been testing some filters as incoming mail filters and when satisfied that they are OK I have dragged them to the selective filter section however they end up with "10" or "40" now magically included in the signal strings. What gives? VF show all NEW mssgs only
