The other track I've heard it on is Coastal Commission's 'Rhodes
Through Space' on Pacific Coast - beautiful orange vinyl from
California which came out last summer, a really deep track...
Yes, I've got this too, which actually prompted me to find out the origin
of the sample, perhaps it

had some Scratch Perverts guy (pretty good), James Lavelle (yawn) and then

scratches, cuts, doubling and then played, bizarrely, Josh Winks
Hello all,
I'm looking for information on Robert Hood and was wondering if anyone knows
of any online sources, other than what's on Submerge and his Tresor bio.
Can't wait to see him @ The End this Saturday.

The crowd really was great last night. There were plenty of familiar

Robert Hood was Rob Noize in the
first version of Underground Resistance with
Jeff Mills and Mike Banks. Rob was responsible
for all of the vocals that weren't samples (ie are
you down with the underground? is from The
Warriors, whereas the sound of underground
resistance rap on riot is rob, etc).

What did you find so good about Billy Nasty?
I don't think he's up to much personally.
Just my opinion, but I've always been quite bemused by his popularity. I
guess he appeals to fans of trance as well as techno which could explain it.

I'd greatly appreciate any contact info,

techy banging club tracks. Heavy on the Chicago,

I completely agree, and not only that, I agree about the same DJ! I saw

ive seen billy nasty a few times here in so calihe always seems to rock

nothing special. he may not bust out the hip hop skills, but his track
here's the tracklisting, mr.c gave me a copy of it last tuesday after his

idea to stay up, hang out, and have me drive him to the airport in
He was pretty upset by the low turnout that night. Actually, he was
pretty pissed off. This might have had an effect on his set. Anyways,
I personally think that while he's the best electro dj I've ever heard,
the part of his sets where he spins techno tend to bore me. A little too
bangin.
Hi,
I picked up 240 volts last week, its definately a gem. Many melodic
electroesque tracks along with a few b.c styled late night grooves. I'm
especially liking the Theorem evolve track, nice warm synths and smooth
rolling rhythms. This is one of those rare double packs where I actually
