(The Driving Memoirs) is an absolute masterpiece in my book, though very

I think he gave in far too quickly and easily to make a pop album --
sounds like he took notes while listening to a few Depeche/Moroder records
and presto, he's got a pop record...
As for the vocals, I think he could've done much better too. At his best

I think it's been mentioned here a few times in the past, but after four
years of working and waiting, we're finally ready to publish the All Music
Guide to Electronic(a). Anyone who's spent time on the allmusic.com site
knows we take care of a *lot* of records (plus a lot of Detroit records) and
but then he puts them on a side stage
read: yeah I couldn't be doing what I'm
doing today with out these pioneers, so we'll
put em on the side stage while I'm on the main.
I sure don't want to defend Moby (though he's good at what he does), but
even though he's the frontman of this whole

first time I went out there in '94, I was surprised by how many great

It was pretty fabulous. I know Kenny Carl aren't thought of primarily as
DJs, but they had the place rocking! Carl had a pretty intense look on his
face most of the night, but Kenny was really enjoying himself -- pumping his
fist in the air every now and then, really getting the crowd into it.
