MIxMaster Mike's set was stunning. Although technically Koala might be slicker, you couldn't prove it by the DEMF shows. Mike was hip, fast as lightning, funky as all get out and he lets enough of the tracks play to give you a feel of what they're about. Quite impressive.

Assuming you don't mean ones you've microwaved or baked, it would prolly have to do with the quality of the laser in it. CDRs tend not to be as reflective (at least that used to be the case) as regular CDs and don't read as easily. Not a thing for most newer players.
