Config is the same, gzip is of course there (it works from the command
line), any idea what's wrong? Thanks.

I guess the config file does take effect. I was thinking about some
rights problem but when I log as nobody (which is the user Apache is
running as), it still works from the command line.

with LogFormat %h %l %{cookie}n %t etc (using mod_usertrack), so
with 'users' columns I could easily track different users daily, monthly

P.S. This is RedHat 6.1, analog 4.1, recent apache/pe
perhaps as a remote_user.
Can analog give me (in either case) at least some basic statistics like
number of different sessions on a given time interval? Thanks for your
help.

P.S. Only other reasonable way to make this statistics I can think of is
to log to the SQL database and then run few
g usefull with it? If no, do you think the
necessary patch would be reasonably simple? The patch could be
reasonably general and so could be usefull to the people using cookies
for user tracking too (even if cookies have their own problems).

where I list everything alphabetically but I would like to get eqach section in

This is quite annoying because suborg listing is very important to us.
I would venture to guess that Chris got just lucky that it works for him now.

Here is my quandry (and I'm glad this list exists now for all my
innane questions):
First, I read the FAQ, and secondly, I went throught he web archive
of the list looking for the answer. While there is some stuff dealing
with ftp logs, it doesn't look like their log file is what ftpd normally

Trying to get the cgi script to work from the form on a unix install I
keep getting Server Error.
When I checked the error log it said "Premature end of script headers".
As the cgi is created by the make file command and looks binary I can't
figure out whats wrong.
Any help would be appreaciated.

I got it to work by moving the logfile to the analog directory instead of
putting a path to the LogFile directory in analog.cfg
I published the Analog4.02 directory so I can read it over the web (if I've
run Analog on the logfile previously).

I was wondering if there was a way to use analog to get some of the
visitor's e-mail address like you can in

will not have every visitor listed because of caching but it is better than
nothing.
