I am amazed at the efforts involved and all the work-arounds needed in using

I am using VMs with Cent OS with Oracle and ITSM 7.6.04, 8.0, 8.1 all running
on a monster host machine (32 cores/64gb, 10k rpm drives) with ESXi as the OS.
I have never seen ITSM boot so fast J
Don’t know about a script as it was really simple to build the machine. Just
follow the BMC ins
Just remember that some classes have changed / disappeared and the status etc
is moved to a new form.
We have Meta-Update scripts that handle all that.

Perhaps I've misunderstood your issue, but if not it could be a simple
oversight. Presumably you are doing the push to AST:BulkInventory? If so,
simply pre-set the GUID with Application-Generate-Guid and then your
workflow will have "captured" it J

One of the sample scripts of Meta-Update does just that :) It’s about 3 lines,
does an SQL query on arschema and picks up a select count(*) for each
non-dialog join table.

producing said template spreadsheets.

There’s been so much about this, I decided to pipe in with: for Meta-Update
customers, one of the samples sets server logging on.
You would just point the script at each server and turn it on. Or even better,
repeat the two lines for each server in a batch file.
