Sorry should have mentioned, I have that already and works great.
Trying to figure out why the non-admin on this form cannot execute the table
view delete.
I will revise our current delete with your suggestions.
We are still on 6.3, but I did something similar to Gary, with a twist.
We have several customers and each customer we record infromation for has
their own schema.
I created a display only form with a page field and a tab for each customer,
a s well as a table, and an AL that refreshes the table

Since the Remedy Alert tool was mentioned...I am going to make an assumption that you want a solution that is NOT dependent on the Remedy User tool being opened. You could use some of the instant messaging technologies especially those with a command line feature. If your organization allows

balancing environment) and a non LBE.
I did look at how to configure Alerts in a LBE in the PDF manual and resolved
an issue with users not receiving Alerts.

Did you check your preferences for Alert on your desktops? IF your OS on
your laptops and desktops have been installed from a standard image,
maybe your image for your laptops is different from that of desktops and
the preferences are set
in
their respective images. When you log into the Alert tool, check the tool
preferences..

This remedy alert tool will pop up when you have a notify action action
specified to the particular user
This action should be done only via remedy AR server. If you are trying
to update the alert form via SQL statements it will not work

I'm having a problem automatically starting Remedy Alert after
rebooting the client machine. I'm using Remedy Alert patch v22 for ARS
6.3. The server and tool are configured correctly as I am getting
alert messages, but automatically starting the tool doesn't seem to
work after reboot
