This doesn´t seem to be a bug just a weak signal of the digital sources.
It just needs to long to get in sync. My cheapo DVD-Player sometimes
needs a part of a second to get in sync with the Transporter also. My
Marantz CD player syncs immediately without any noise.
A solution i can imagine is

There's nothing wrong with your choice of amp; my main point is that
your 601s wouldn't be getting the best out of it.
My old Snell Type Es were perfect for that kind of valve amp, and they
went for just over £100 on ebay (good job I got my Living Voices for a

That one is probably a switched design - and that is not what you want.
If you are handy with a soldering iron, you could make one based on the
SS5-3/OVP (-6/OVP)model. That one looks like Elpac's version of the
industry 5V/3A version a lot of us have used. There is at least 5

This weekend I was playing with running my CDP's digital out into the
Transporter and was messing around with switching between inputs. When
I switched from a SlimServer stream back to the RCA digital input (while
